While a great deal of emphasis has been placed on the civil war and growing refugee crisis in Syria, the embattled country is not the only location in the Middle East in a state of chaos. South of Syria, Yemen continues their own civil war where more than 11,000 people have been killed since Houthi rebels ousted the government from power thus creating an unstable environment. Extremists are taking full advantage of the lack of government and utilize the country to recruit, train and develop future plans to strike the West.
