Did the FBI Reduce the Classification of Clinton Emails in Exchange for a State Department Favor?

By OpsLens Staff:

As certain Federal Bureau of Investigation records have been made public, there is information indicating that the FBI and State Department may have entered into a mutually beneficial deal. The documents demonstrate how the two organizations colluded in order to declassify several of Hillary Clinton’s emails, thus assisting with the ongoing investigation, in exchange for additional overseas slots for FBI field agents.  Both organizations have refuted the claims.  OpsLens will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
