Conservatives Keep Giving AOC Easy Wins While She Steals Your Future

By: - January 10, 2019

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the freshman representative from New York, is both a completely inexperienced and underinformed Socialist and the latest political media darling. The mainstream media fawns over her every word, tweet, and Instagram post, despite her completely ridiculous and foolish policy positions. The biggest source of her early “success” since being sworn in? Republicans who can’t seem to keep their feet out of their mouths, instead of systematically dismantling her toxic ideologies. Whether it is the hysterical and extremely online “pundit” obsessing over a video of AOC dancing and having harmless fun as a young person in college or elected officials acting like they don’t understand how taxes work, everyone on the right seems to be giving her just as much of a free pass as the media. It is troubling, to say the least, especially given how easy it is to counter an elected official who has repeatedly displayed mind-numbing levels of ignorance whenever forced to go below the surface of any of her positions. Seriously, it is 2018 and we have a congresswoman who still thinks Socialism is a viable option…and you are crying about a video of her dancing in college?

Let’s not forget that AOC’s opposition to the Electoral College stems from a fascist desire to silence the voices of those who disagree with her and her coastal elite friends.

But instead, we want to pretend that her Green New Deal involves a flat 70 percent income tax on all or part of America? Her plan is terrible, but why are you making yourself look like the fool by pretending what she is proposing is something that it so obviously isn’t?

We’re literally giving her easy wins when her own policies and proposals are so ludicrous they should refute themselves. One of her first acts in the House was to propose a bill that would allow the government to spend even more recklessly than they already can. By opposing the so-called “Paygo” rule (that leading Democrat Nancy Pelosi proposed herself), Ocasio-Cortez is saying that she doesn’t care where the funding comes from or how much debt she foists upon the American citizen in order to fund her radical and regressive policies. Paygo rules mean that you can’t propose new spending unless there are equivalent tax increases or budget cuts. What AOC is calling for is to be handed daddy’s credit card with no terms or limits on how much she can spend. In this case, “daddy” is Uncle Sam and the American people are who will have to pay for whatever doomed-to-fail socialist program AOC can dream up.

Remember when the banks began loaning out money in a completely haphazard way, while Wall Street played Russian roulette with the economy back in 2008? Remember how that worked out? All of these “too big to fail” institutions got bailed out by the American people, with absolutely zero accountability. Now, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to do the same thing with the budget deficit and she is gambling with your tax money. She’s going to distract you by talking about raising taxes on the “ultra-wealthy,” while demanding that she not be told what her budget limitations are because, in her mind, she should have the power and authority to just take the money from you to pay for all of it.

I guess that is just what progress looks like in 2019.

    • MSNBC: 1 man's 'election denier' is another man's TV host
MSNBC, the "news" outfit on which the Rev. Al Sharpton has a show, briefly hired former Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, at $300,000 per year, to serve as an on-air pundit. Why did the rabidly anti-Trump, anti-Republican network make her the offer? MSNBC likely did so because 2024 is an election year; McDaniel was… […]
    • Dems' weakest case against Trump is first to go to trial
Donald Trump was first indicted nearly a year ago, on April 4, 2023, when Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced charges against the former president over a nondisclosure agreement Trump used to buy the silence of porn actress Stormy Daniels, with whom he had apparently had a brief sexual encounter. Bragg, an elected Democrat, won… […]
    • White House adds hair-sniffing contest to Easter Egg Roll!
It's about time again for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. What the resurrection of Jesus has to do with eggs, chocolate candy, jelly beans or peeps is beyond me. Jesus did not arise from the dead and walk through the walls of the tomb holding an Easter basket and looking for eggs laid… […]
    • Say it, media: DEMOCRATS are prosecuting Trump
On March 25, "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart uncorked a typical not-so-funny sermon about how Donald Trump overvaluing real estate properties was not a "victimless crime." Trump has been found liable for fraud despite no banker or financier ever claiming Trump victimized them. Then the New York Post reported talk-show host Tim Pool tweeted that… […]

    • The shocking beliefs of America's powerful 'elites'
It is becoming increasingly clear that some of America's most serious problems can be traced back to our colleges and universities – or at least the ones educating the country's most powerful people. The Vietnam War era aside, it has traditionally been uncommon for events at universities to make national headlines. Absent something extraordinary, like… […]
    • Who is really behind Moscow terror attack?
Was the Islamic State (ISIS) behind the Crocus City Hall terror attack in Moscow that killed 139 and wounded 182 on March 22, 2024, or not? The Islamic State did claim the attack, and the Western mainstream is agreed that the terror group was, indeed, behind it. On March 25, White House press secretary Karine… […]
    • Only Democrats get to lie on NBC News
Ronna McDaniel, formerly chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, was recently hired and subsequently fired by NBC News when the "talent," unable to countenance even moderate dissent, revolted on air. The entire kerfuffle is unsurprising considering the state of modern "media." But one of the funniest moments of the McDaniel blowup came when host and… […]
