Is Lindsey Graham Right? Are the ‘Squad’ Communists?

By: - July 23, 2019

The Unfab Four, aka the Squad (I hesitate to give them a military grouping, as I was once a member of a squad in the US Army and these four would have been fighting for the other side), take great umbrage at their recent characterizations by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) as “a bunch of communists” who “hate America.”

In response they went on their usual diversionary rants about “white nationalism,” etc. Now at first glance the senator’s words may seem like overkill that recalls the sometimes confusing tactics of the late Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-WI). Tailgunner Joe ironically was correct per his allegations of communist influence in the U.S. government of the late 1940s and early 1950s. But he delivered his charges in such a haphazard and occasionally drunken manner that it gave his enemies lots of ammo to destroy him and his allegations, which they did after several years. When they discredited him they inadvertently, and perhaps at times consciously, did the work of Soviet Intelligence.

The left has always been ultrasensitive on the communist charge because they sided with the communists so many times during the Cold War. There was rarely an issue on which they didn’t toe the Moscow line. Korea, Vietnam, the arms race, Central America, Cuba, all saw the U.S. left give open aid and comfort to those who would destroy the West. Today we see the four airhead congressgals taking stances on socialism and cozying up to socialist despots that are in lockstep with their party’s long and sordid record on these subjects. The four regularly spew invective at this society and its members. They denigrate those who protect us at home and abroad. So the “hate America” charge seems to stick to the vicious four.

However, are they actual communists?

Without the aid, right now anyway, of medicinal spirits (sorry Joe) let’s look at the commie charge in the sober light of analysis.

  • They publicly venerate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Sanders displayed a Soviet communist flag in his office for many years, always advocated for the Soviet line in foreign policy and defense matters, and even honeymooned in Soviet Russia. He admits to being a socialist, as in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the USSR. Describing him as a communist has the ease of shooting Marxists in barrel, which communists themselves did on a consistent basis. He currently comments on the superiority of the Venezuelan communist social and economic model. Uh-huh, a veritable paradise. For classic Reds.
  • AOC does everything she can to stoke racial animus, long a Soviet goal in America. She has also described her warm feelings for socialism and socialist policies like government-run healthcare. Her hatred for American traditions and faith is glaringly obvious and she gleefully revels in it. She has taken the aging and toothless trollop that is the modern U.S. Democratic Party and further infected it with the contagion of authoritarian socialism. It was a willing victim.
  • Reps Omar and Tlaib do their bit to flame the fires of racism and are acknowledged enemies of Israel, much like the official policy of the former USSR. They have both called for an unconstitutional forcible disarming of the American people, decry U.S. national security efforts, and regularly reiterate communist economic nostrums as if they have the ring of historical success. It is tempting to chalk up all their ideological foibles to unbelievable stupidity and excessive narcissism. And yes, those play a major part. But a far more twisted and brutal motivation lies just below the surface of their public personas.
  • If her comrades are players in a dangerous game of racial bigotry, Rep. Pressley is the MVP. She has literally called for the suppression of minority voices that don’t agree with her ideas. Gee, now what kind of ideology oppresses those who buck the opinions of government officials? Hint, that ideology had a spiritual HQ in the Lubyanka. She is in solidarity with the rest of her mentally gnarled sisters when it comes to other communist ideals and sympathies.

It is therefore very amusing of them to call the president a “fascist.” They tout red fascist policies, they make color and ethnicity defining factors in national policy, and they do so without fear of arrest by the “fascist” Trump regime. One somehow doubts that leftist critics of the German regime in 1938 were quite so blithe in their public utterings.

So, are they communists?

None of them admit to it and indeed they cover their classic red invective in the slimy membrane of junior high school platitudes. Their stated goal is the improvement of America through radical transformation of the bedrock principles of our society and form of government. Those notions are in perfect keeping with communist theory as practiced from the Kolyma to the Killing Fields.

Thus while they may protest in the negative, their proposals, words, and associations speak louder as to their true ideology.

Lindsey Graham is right. They are captives of a murderous bitter 19th century philosophy that lost the Cold War on Christmas Day in Moscow, 1991. Apparently, lost it almost everywhere except in the Democratic Party of Sanders, Cortez, Tlaib, Pressley, and Omar.

NOTE: As predicted, Boris Johnson was elected leader of the UK Conservative Party this morning beating opponent Jeremy Hunt by 2 to 1. He will take over as UK prime minister tomorrow afternoon. God in Heaven Be Praised.

    • Leftist reporters pretend they're not partisan news squashers
Eight years ago, the leftist media took great offense to being dismissed by Donald Trump as "fake news," but they never seemed to grasp this is exactly how they painted the conservative media, as truth-defying propaganda outlets. When the Trump trial turned to the National Enquirer, we could find national unity that the Enquirer defines… […]
