Keep Both Eyes on the Wisconsin Supreme Court Recount

By: - April 3, 2019

If we had honest news media, you would have seen this splashed across every front page today. Conservative Brian Hagedorn beat liberal Lisa Neubauer yesterday by 6,000 votes in a race to fill a vacancy on the state Supreme Court.

Neubauer outspent Hagedorn by more than 14 to 1. Outside groups came into the state to campaign against him.  Democrats thought they had momentum on their side, because they finally had defeated Governor Scott Walker last year, and they reelected Senator Tammy Baldwin.

Attacking Christian Beliefs

But Neubauer, state Democrats, and their allies from outside the state overplayed their hand. They attacked Hagedorn for his Christian beliefs. They attacked him for having founded a school based on Christian principles.  They called the mainstream Biblical doctrine the school taught about sexuality and marriage “hate speech.”

The voters of Wisconsin are a little tired of being called bigots. Instead of keeping their views behind closed doors like a private vice, they turned out in record numbers for an off-off-year election and voted for Brian Hagedorn.

Beware Recount Fraud

Neubauer has called for a recount, of course, and the devil really is in the details. When Democrats call for recounts after losing close elections, they have an uncanny knack for finding “lost” votes. Over the last 20 years, we have seen them try to steal elections in broad daylight, most famously in Broward County, Florida. (Or in neighboring Minnesota 2008, when Al Franken “found” just enough ballots in the trunk of a car to overturn Norm Coleman’s victory.)

Hagedorn and the state Republican Party had better have well-trained observers in every precinct, closely observing the vote count. If you know people living in Wisconsin, send them this article and tell them to call the local GOP and ask how they can help. The Republican National Committee and the Republican National Lawyers Association should be calling for volunteers from all over the country to head to Wisconsin to help guarantee ballot security.

Hagedorn’s victory may be stolen by the Democrats, but it has sent a shock wave through both political parties. It confirms what President Trump has known for two years: that Wisconsin is a battleground state for 2020, and that standing up for freedom of religion wins elections. If the election is run honestly, Wisconsin will vote again for Trump.

This also should be a stark reminder to the Republican political leadership, from the RNC and other party committees, to the White House, to every county committee in the country. They must have a very strong battle plan to ensure the integrity of the voter rolls and the security of ballots for the 2020 election. Democrats are already planning how to steal it. They won’t be caught off guard again.

This is all Barack Obama. What you see happening right now in New York City all started at Columbia University way back in the early 1980s. Obama was my Columbia classmate. And now it's all full circle back to our roots (excuse the pun). Columbia University is the canary in the coal mine. Get the… […]

California government was revolutionized and voters didn't' even notice. Once upon a time, local government had all the authority when it came to services. The new government model, pioneered incrementally during the second half of the 20th century, is now being redefined by state mandates. When zoning first came into practice, it was a local… […]

    • The Harlem bodega: Trump's 'water shaft' moment
The enthusiastic welcome received by President Trump at a Harlem bodega after Day 2 of the farcical hush-money trial in Manhattan reminds me of David's taking of Jerusalem 3,000 years ago, the king popping up in the city center unexpectedly through an obscure water shaft, a story told in both 2 Samuel 5 and 1… […]
    • The Ukraine war is big business: Who'd want it to end?
There's an old saying, "With friends like these, who needs enemies?" Watching 101 "Republicans" betray conservative values, siding with Democrats and deficit spending $61 billion on Ukraine, in addition to the $113 billion already spent, reveals that the Republicans don't hold a majority in the House of Representatives. Instead, the majority is held by the… […]

"Nothing is real," observed John Lennon, and that's especially true of politics. • Universities are complicit in Jew hatred on campus
It is not so much that our elite universities have allowed a spirit of vile Jew hatred to take root on their campuses. Instead, they have cultivated that very spirit, fueling its fires and fine-tuning its ideologies. The universities are complicit. Ben Shapiro confirmed these sentiments, writing, "Open anti-Semitism has been on the rise for… […]
