Let’s just get straight to the point. Michelle Wolf is about as much of a comedian as she is a supermodel. She’s long been a social justice warrior activist first and a funny person second. So which is it, Michelle or Mishill?
During the 2016 election, Michelle Wolf was in lockstep with other corporatist puppets like Sarah Silverman and Amy Schumer in making personal attacks on Donald Trump and his family while simultaneously deifying Hillary Clinton. On Trevor Noah’s Daily Show, Wolf once pulled a Jimmy Kimmel and choked up on-air after a segment played where Hillary Clinton disingenuously reminded women that her loss should not dissuade them from “achieving their dreams.” Spare me.
With the path laid out in front of her becoming clearer over the past year, Wolf learned that you’ve got to play by the rules of identity politics if you’re going to be an anointed and protected democratic shill. She began to retroactively censor herself as a result. Between 2017 and 2018, Wolf deleted thousands of politically incorrect tweets that ranged from calling Serena Williams a man to describing Eric Trump as an abortion. People who sell themselves out to be patted on the head like a golden retriever are the death of comedy, but I prefer to hate the game. Players like her are just pawns.
Sheeple roll their eyes when folks like us call out the mainstream media for its social engineering and mind control tactics as if we’re tinfoil hat-wearing conspiracy theorists, but all you’ve got to do is dig beneath the surface to get an idea of what’s really going on. When the MSM used Wolf’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner bit to drum up this faux controversy, they were in turn engineering an alternate universe where the Michelle Wolf brand could reach critical mass. Like it or not, she’s become almost universally recognizable on the heels of all this media attention. The illusion is that it happened overnight.
While the left is celebrating Wolf for her abortion jokes and attacks on conservatism, we’ve seen both the center and right come out and attack her for her indecency and contempt for the presidency—but remember, all publicity is good publicity. As long as people are saying your name, you’ve got influence.
And so, the band marches on, Joe American. Your orders are to be infuriated over Michelle Wolf’s disrespect towards President Trump and the members of his cabinet. You will announce to the world that abortion jokes simply will not be tolerated. Calling Sarah Huckabee Sanders out for having the body type and butch appearance of every college softball catcher who ever played the game will not be tolerated. Repeat the name: Michelle Wolf, Michelle Wolf, Michelle Wolf.
What is there to gain by picking winners and losers in such a way? Well, the late Andrew Breitbart once said, “Politics is downstream from culture.” You gain a stranglehold in the political and economic realms by controlling the messaging that shapes a society’s culture.
The MSM is quite literally made up by only a handful of parent corporations who own every recognizable media outlet pushing out information into the world today. Time Warner, Disney, and Comcast are the big three. Now let’s look at Time Warner’s relationship with Ms. Wolf.
Is it merely coincidental that HBO has been pushing the woman’s standup comedy special Nice Lady for the past month just as Wolf gets handed the opportunity to make a splash at this dinner for schmucks? Time Warner owns HBO. They also own CNN, otherwise known as the Clinton News Network, in honor of that failed presidential candidate Wolf so shamelessly pandered to on Comedy Central during her time with Daily Show. If you’re wondering who owns Comedy Central, you’re seeing the pattern here. Time Warner owns 50 percent of Comedy Central in a split with Viacom. There certainly seems to be evidence that moments in times like these are orchestrated by people with deep pockets and unlimited resources. They do not occur organically. It’s quite the racket.
It appears that Michelle Wolf’s invitation to speak at this dinner was not based on the merits of her comedy. I didn’t laugh much. The people in the crowd didn’t laugh much either. Did you? The whole thing played more like a coronation based on her willingness to play ball with a very specific agenda. Please welcome the newest addition to a roster of far-left comedian/activists being used by corporations like Time Warner to sway public opinion for their own benefit. Sarah Silverman, Amy Schumer, Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Samantha Bee—they all have different names but share the same hive mind. These people call themselves comedians, but they’re simply establishment political hacks prostituting for the world’s most powerful corporations run by the world’s most elitist people in the name of “progress.”
If we’re all on the same page, then you’ve probably already noticed how these goons get selected for gigs like the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in the first place. Last year it was Hasan Minhaj, who got handed the golden microphone when Muslims were the progressive flavor of the week. Minhaj wasted no time in advertising his Muslim faith at the center of the very first joke he told. This year, feminism is headlining the progressive agenda and all women (save for conservative ones) must be placed on the highest pedestal. It’s #MeToo season after all. For me, that empty gimmick carries about as much weight as “I’m Lovin’ It” plastered on a throwaway cup from Mickey D’s. Then again, gimmicks, clichés, and bumper stickers might as well be holy scripture in America’s urban centers these days.
While people are gobbling up the brain junk food being fed to them by the MSM, they’re forgetting to eat their vegetables. I couldn’t care less about Michelle Wolf as an individual. She can be replaced by virtually anyone else the power players feel inclined to trot out there. The problem is that regardless of whether the current administration is Republican Conservative, Liberal Democrat, or Trumpian, the speaker at these elitist gatherings will always be a “progressive” bought and paid-for by the media class given the current system we’re in. This is where the outrage should lie.
President Trump doesn’t skip these events because he’s a coward. He skips them because he’s not into getting kicked in the balls by progressive shills just for the fun of it. Heaven forbid they let anyone to the right of Amy Schumer speak at one of these things. Owen Benjamin, anyone? How about Steven Crowder?
In a world that makes sense, the blame lies squarely with the White House Correspondents’ Association for fixing the game year after year like they do. In a world that makes even more sense, cancel Swamp dinners like this altogether as the president suggested.
