Press Defends AOC Photo Op in Front of Empty Parking Lot

By: - July 24, 2019

Some of you might remember the open mockery that AOC had to endure when it was revealed last month that a photo of her supposedly crying in front of a border barrier, while she was allegedly looking at sad and desperate refugees, was in fact a contrived photo taken in front of an empty parking lot.

Her staff called the follow on photos, which blatantly show AOC in front of an empty space, “right wing garbage.” Much to their irritation, people continued to make fun of the Bronx bartender.

So what happened now?

The press runs to AOC’s rescue in the form of the loose with the facts fact-checking service PolitiFact.

Because there is an empty road by the parking lot, as there is by any parking lot so cars can get in and out, PolitiFact decided that the claim the photo op was solely in front of a parking lot was not true. It was, by their own admission, in front of an empty road. See the difference? Uh-huh. There is none. They published this finding yesterday to much leftist media fanfare, on the thin surface confirming AOC’s story and thus making a pathetic attempt to exonerate her from ridicule.

What they conveniently didn’t mention was that the road is only several feet away from the first described parking lot and both had no illegals anywhere to be seen.

How’s that for factual objectivity?

Thus AOC had nothing to be crying about unless she gets emotionally upset at a dirt road. Though given her usual mental state, this is a distinct possibility.

In other less snarky words PolitiFact, who touts themselves as an impartial non-partisan objective service, is just another media outlet that prevaricates and spins to do dirty work for the left.

Bottom line? There is no fact in PolitiFact. Only lame excuses for a failed photo op.

The subsequent photos show the tears of AOC were conjured up, the righteous indignation was false, and even the illegal immigrants said to be in the pic, just off camera shot of course, were imaginary. It was a total and complete lie designed to show us all how noble she is as her heart goes out to innocent victims of our cruel border policies.

But like AOC’s career in general, the whole thing was delusional from the start.

It is said everybody gets their own opinions; however, nobody gets their own facts. AOC got caught trying to change facts to suit her own twisted and mendacious pseudo-reality. When the laughter became too hard PolitiFact tried to rescue her.

It failed and now it embarrassingly stands as a laughing stock as the pics still show the same thing. As such PolitiFact forgot one simple rule of politics: When you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.

I swear we are living in some kind of bizarro "Twilight Zone" episode, or a zombie apocalypse nightmare. Things are that bizarre in America nowadays. • Israel sends a message – but we're not near 'the end'
Is the conflict between Israel and Iran about to explode? Are we on the edge of World War III, if not Armageddon? The answer to all these questions is the same: not likely. Iran's attack on Israel on April 13, 2024, was without precedent.
