If you’re holding a press conference to argue that President Trump is racist by making false claims about you, why wouldn’t you confirm that his claims were false?
President Trump has yet again stirred up controversy on Twitter, by suggesting that “‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen'” that dislike the way the United States government is being run go back to the “broken and crime infested places from which they came.” Much debate ensued regarding whether or not this was a racist attack on four particular individuals, despite the comments talking in generalities.
After the resulting outrage online, the president tweeted another message “clarifying” what he meant:
We will never be a Socialist or Communist Country. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY HERE, YOU CAN LEAVE! It is your choice, and your choice alone. This is about love for America. Certain people HATE our Country….

….They are anti-Israel, pro Al-Qaeda, and comment on the 9/11 attack, “some people did something.” Radical Left Democrats want Open Borders, which means drugs, crime, human trafficking, and much more….

In a press conference to address President Trump’s comments, Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) refused to actually condemn al-Qaeda or Islamic terrorism as a whole. Let that sink in for a second. A Somali immigrant and practicing Muslim, elected to Congress to serve her constituents, is condemning the president as a liar and an Islamaphobe. Yet, when given the opportunity to refute his claims and condemn the enemies of the country/constituents she serves…she refuses.
You won’t “dignify” a question from a journalist seeking to confirm your story, but you’ll hold a press conference to talk about what the leader of the free world is tweeting? In what reality do you have a problem with saying “No, al- Qaeda is evil. So are all terrorists, Islamic or not. They do not reflect my personal values, nor do they represent my religion.” Yet in the same breath, you are willing to say anyone that doesn’t condemn the man who claimed that you supported al-Qaeda is a racist. Is that your way of telling us all that you are a terrorist?
