Yazidi Ex-Sex Slave Encounters Her Rapist Turned ‘Refugee’ in… Germany

By: - August 17, 2018
Syrian refugees waiting to cross Hungary and Austria border en route to Germany, 6 September 2015. Wikipedia.

That refugee vetting system appears to be failing in Germany where a young Yazidi woman randomly ran into the Islamic State captor who held her hostage and raped her for three months… while at a supermarket near Stuttgart.

Ashwaq Haji, 19, has since returned to Iraq where she was held hostage and raped from August 3 until October 22, 2014 after jihadist Abu Humam bought her for a mere $100.

More scarily is that during the encounter, Humam – who called out to her to get her attention in the supermarket – proceeded to tell her the home address where was living in Germany.

More from France 24:

A spokesman for the German federal prosecutor’s office told AFP that so far the man’s identity could not be confirmed “with certainty”.

Germany says it has opened several investigations over terrorism charges or crimes against humanity involving asylum seekers linked to jihadist groups in Iraq, Syria or Afghanistan.

Ashwaq said she had viewed surveillance videos filmed in the supermarket together with German police and was ready to keep them informed of her whereabouts.

But she said that she was not willing to return to Germany for fear of seeing her captor again.
