One of the best parts about the Christmas season is getting to snuggle up on the couch to watch the same movies year after year. Everyone has their favorites, but here is a list of the top Christmas movies out there (in no particular order).

1. Home Alone

2. It’s a Wonderful Life

3. Love Actually

4. Elf

Buddy the Elf goes to New York in search for his biological father. Walter Hobbs is a cynical businessman who reluctantly tries to start a relationship with his elf son.


5. A Christmas Story

6. The Nightmare Before Christmas

People just can’t decided if The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie, but it’s still included as one of the best Christmas movies. Jack Skellington plans to put Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus.

Clark Griswold plans the perfect family Christmas…until his family unexpectedly shows up and things begin to quickly go awry.


8. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
