New Film Paints Michael Brown as Drug Dealer ‘Saint’, Not ‘Robber’…Reinvigorates Protests in Ferguson

Black Lives Matter and the Ferguson community have taken to the streets to defend Michael Brown once again…

There were new protests, about 100 people, even reports of shots fired outside the Ferguson Market and Liquor Store over the weekend after a new film called “Stranger Fruit” was released.  Contrary to witness statements and police reporting, the film purported that Michael Brown did not rob the store prior to his being shot by a police officer in Ferguson. A shooting that quickly spread into riots, which garnered national attention and spawned Black Lives Matter.

The fact that robbery had nothing to do with his being shot makes no difference to those who expressed outrage over Brown’s death. What the film purports is that Brown did not rob the store but instead was caught on film dealing drugs to the store clerk hours before he was shot.

Somehow the fictional version of Brown dealing drugs at the store versus robbing it is an improvement in the eyes of the community, demonstrating a new low for society. Essentially the sentiment is because no robbery took place (in this film), Brown is made to be a better person, which somehow makes his attack on the officer and his subsequent shooting unjustified. Hmm…

Police say the new footage is irrelevant to their investigation. Investigators have previously said Officer Darren Wilson initially stopped Brown for walking in the street, not because the store reported a robbery.

This is what makes the BLM protest in Ferguson so absurd to the majority of law abiding Americans. This  group of 100 people protesting truly believes that Brown should be viewed in a different light because he was a drug dealer instead of a robber. Is it entertaining that this is truly their belief? Sure.  Logical? Absolutely not.

To those that protested I say wake up! Do you have any idea how foolish it is to protest for a VIOLENT FELON that attacked a police officer. Stop trying to glorify someone that is nothing more than a drug-dealing felon who got shot for attacking a police officer. The Department of Justice report agreed, the courts agreed, and the vast majority of America agrees. Stop being the pawns of the anti-society fringe and become a productive American.

    • K.C. athlete kicks on the leftist outrage machine
On May 11, Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker gave the commencement address at Benedictine College, a Catholic school in Kansas. But the Butker critics who aren't… […]

People often ask, "How do you handle mean, vicious people when out in public?" The truth is I rarely encounter nastiness. It does happen, but thankfully, it is pretty rare. • From the Pit to Power: An election drama in 2 acts
Joe Biden's claim, speaking recently to Democrat donors, that Donald Trump intends to be a democracy-demolishing dictator, if elected, is shameless. "He's saying it out loud," Biden seethed. No, Joe, he didn't. The accusation stems from Trump's playful response to a Sean Hannity question during a December town hall meeting in Iowa. To anyone watching… […]
