Spygate, the FBI, and the Clear Threat to Our Nation

By: - June 17, 2018

While most “real” Americans were celebrating Memorial Day and all that it symbolizes, the radical left was in full attack mode. On May 28, 2018, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was directing the mainstream media to water down the “Spygate” scandal.

The funny thing is: Schumer used his Twitter account to do it, raising questions about the complicity of the media. In his tweet, Schumer said the following: “Memo to the press: When you quote the president saying “spygate,” it is only fair to immediately follow that by noting there is absolutely no evidence of a spy being inserted in his campaign. It seems to me, failure to do so is a disservice to your readers, viewers & the country.”

But the irony of it all is that it was two major “liberal” mainstream media outlets that broke the story of “Spygate.” Both The Washington Post and The New York Times published stories about how Obama’s Federal Bureau of Investigation may have embedded a “spy” in the then-presidential campaign of Donald Trump. More importantly, it was The Washington Post and The New York Times that used the word “spy,” not the Trump administration, as liberals want you to believe.

Contrary to Sen. Schumer’s assertion that “there is no evidence of a spy,” it actually appears that there is more than ample evidence to put forward a conclusion that Obama’s FBI operatives targeted the Trump Campaign.

It’s shocking to consider the possibility that the chief police arm of the federal government may have embedded a “spy” in the presidential campaign of a political opponent and used taxpayer resources to collect information on said opponent.

When you follow the money, this “spy” was paid more than $1 million to inform on the Trump campaign. Folks, this is bigger than the “Watergate scandal” and no one is talking about it. Why? Because those with evidence are being bullied and threatened into not speaking.

Case in point: As you can imagine, this has had a devastating effect to the rank-and-file agents of the FBI. So much so that many disheartened FBI agents are asking congress to issue subpoenas compelling them to testify. But why ask for subpoenas? Because there are far too many embedded Obama acolytes still in the administration. Instead of relying on the empty promise of “whistleblower” protection, these agents are demanding a subpoena because they are terrified of the reprisals if they speak out…and rightfully so.

This highly unusual request for a congressional subpoena serves to highlight just how corrupt the FBI is and just how deep the corruption runs. And it highlights the problems with current “whistleblower” laws. In short, the laws are so circumspect and ambiguous that professional “law enforcement” officers firmly believe the laws will not protect them. It does the opposite. It exposes them to career-ending risk and retaliation by those “enemies of the state” that are still hidden deep within the folds of the government and the FBI. Simply stated, these agents will not risk their families or their careers on empty promises, regardless of the evidence they may have.

As reported by Newsmax and The Daily Caller: A former White House official told reporters he knows of two FBI agents who are “hunkering down because they see good people being thrown to the dogs for speaking out and speaking out does nothing to solve the problems [emphasis added].”

He believes that “Congress and DOJ are so weak and clueless and can’t be trusted to follow through.”

Further, according to just released transcripts, one special agent said, “It’s a question of basic credibility. Congress, the executive, and oversight are not seen to have any gravitas or seriousness. The inmates have been running the asylum and they don’t respect, much less fear, their overseers. We know we’ll be hung out to dry.”

Adding, “And don’t get me wrong, there are still a few good people scattered about, but main Justice and the bureaucrats are running the show, want to run out the clock on this administration, and keep the status quo.”

He continued, “You still have a ton of bad people in place. Unless that changes and I haven’t seen any degree of seriousness on the part of ranking members nor staffers, I’m not meeting with anyone nor willing to be subpoenaed. I’m not coming forward until they get their act together. Right now, it’d be sacrificing a career for cheap political points.”

When asked about being subpoenaed, another special agent acknowledged, “This is a great opportunity for senior or [soon to be retiring] guys, not for someone like me. It’d be suicide. I hate to say it, but neither the judiciary nor the executive branch is wielding any kind of effective oversight right now, and the top managers know it.”

Yet Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has gone on the record to defend the Whistleblower Protection Act. Remember, Grassley was the guy who pushed the Whistleblower Act through congress. He said the following: “I’ve worked hard to strengthen legal protections, especially for FBI employees. You have a right to cooperate with Congressional inquiries, just as you have a right to cooperate with the Inspector General. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.”

Really Senator Grassley? Because here you have career law enforcement agents, whose job is to know and enforce the law, stating emphatically they do not trust the whistleblower law. You are obviously not listening.

Here is the long and short of it, folks: The Whistleblower Act only protects you from unfair prosecution. But since when has “unfair prosecution” ever stopped the government. Need I remind you of Mueller? And that is how they get you. Sure it’s unfair, and sure you can claim protection under the law…but you have to pay the bill! The Whistleblower Act does little to nothing to protect you from having to pay enormous legal bills you will incur from defending yourself against unfair and malicious prosecution. Just look at the bankruptcy case that Manafort had to file or the fact that Roger Stone had to create a crowd-funding site to cover his legal fees.

Time and time again we see retaliatory legal actions by government agencies against whistleblowers with the sole intent of driving the whistleblower into financial ruin…sending a very clear and unambiguous message to anyone else who might want to “whistle blow.”

Case in point: In 2013, an FBI agent came forward to report a series of FBI improprieties committed by some senior agents, under the Whistleblower Protection Act, and found himself experiencing “personal humiliation, stress-related illnesses, and a huge financial loss, requiring [his] wife (who had undergone two cancer surgeries) to go to work so [they] could make ends meet.”

According to a December 1, 2015 letter from then-FBI Assistant Director Stephen Kelly, less than two percent of FBI retaliation claims result in punishment for the retaliators or a remedy for the victims.

“They leave you penniless, unemployed, and unemployable. Those who work those issues in the government who are aware of the score recognize the roadkill they will become if they come forward,” said the FBI agent.

That is where these career law enforcement agents are showing their intelligence. You see, in the case of a subpoena, a whistleblower can get financial protection should the government agency attempt the spurious legal attack tactic as a weapon of intimidation. In short, it forces the very government agency being investigated to pay the attorney’s fees should they choose to retaliate.

It is absolutely critical that these agents be allowed to provide their testimony and their evidence of wrongdoing. Because if the Spygate story is confirmed, it should send chills down the back of every American voter. The vote is the very foundation of our Constitutional Republic. In a representative government we elect our officials to “represent” us. But if the election is rigged, then what are we getting if not a corrupted government.

But of course, when this story is confirmed (notice I said when, not if), it should come as no surprise. You see, the entire swamp was counting on Hillary Clinton winning the election. When she lost it was the beginning of the end of the coverup. We are now seeing the house of cards tumbling.

The Obama administration was one of the most corrupt in our history. It was the Obama IRS that targeted pro-faith and pro-family groups in one of the worst cases of abuse of power we have ever seen. Let’s also not forget the Obama State Department, and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who blatantly lied to the American people about what really happened in Benghazi.

Or Team Obama’s spying on journalists. Or the collusion between Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Clinton email server, as well as the Obama FBI’s apparent collusion with the Clinton campaign against candidate Trump. And the granddaddy of them all: the lies and deceptions used to “sell” ObamaCare to the American people. You just can’t make this stuff up.

And it’s not stopping!

As Liberty Council so eloquently stated: “The nightmare season of targeted attacks on people of faith didn’t end when Obama left office. In fact, in many ways these attacks are now on the increase! That’s because these radical elements feel emboldened to oppose President Trump and anyone who dares to align with his pro-faith and pro-family agenda in the harshest ways possible.”

Look, there is an old Naval Intelligence axiom that says, “If there is any doubt, there is no doubt,” and a recent poll proves it. A Rasmussen poll now shows that most Americans believe that the 2016 election was illegally rigged for Hillary Clinton—and when that failed, senior officials in both the DOJ and FBI broke the law, framing the President-elect with the Russian collusion hoax. And that, my friends, is a clear and present danger.

But thankfully, it appears my warning cries have been heard—America is waking up.
