President Trump Knows What it’s Like to Have a Police Car Behind You All Day, Every Day

By: - March 6, 2019

You know how it feels when a police car is behind you even if you aren’t doing anything wrong? You’re relieved once the cruiser turns in another direction.

But, what if that police cruiser were behind you every minute of every day? And what if patrol cars were behind not only you but also your closest employees and even your family members? What are the odds the officer following will eventually observe a violation and make a traffic stop? Damned good, I’d say.

As I understand it, that pinnacle of political, moral, and ethical virtue himself, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) seems to be arrogating to himself the Russian collusion holy mantle. He’s doing this in anticipation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s successful Russia probe, which is purportedly coming to an end (yes, in a way, successful: Mueller reportedly found the truth—no Russia collusion).

Still, Rep. Nadler, who had a spectacular Freudian slip, still needs to find his truth. The guy said, “Before you impeach somebody, you have to persuade the American public that it ought to happen. You have to persuade enough of the opposition party voters or the Trump voters that you are not just trying to…that you’re not just trying to steal the last ele[ction]–to reverse the results of the last election [emphasis added].”

Rep. Nadler seems to be leading the neo-Democrats’ necessary shift away from the “Mueller Report.” They have to. It reportedly contains no evidence of “Russian collusion.” So, now it’s the transition to the Democrat’s going nuclear against President Trump—and everyone he knows.

The Democrats have fired what legalinsurrection.com calls a “subpoena cannon.” In fact, the Dems have fired it at over 85 individuals, organizations, and government agencies attached to President Donald Trump, including his family members. Warning: If the president shook your hand at a Trump rally, watch out. Congressional Democrats may fire a subpoena at you, too.

And the Democrats have launched this re-offensive armed with no evidence (except for exculpable), no reasonable suspicion, and no probable cause of any offense. On the job, my partner and I used to joke about how easy a cop’s job would be if the standard were “possible cause.” Seems to work for Democrats.

As I alluded to in the first paragraph, allow me to condense the issue down to how the law worked in my world. You know, the world that involves the rule of law. For example, before I could detain a driver to investigate a violation, I had to have a legal reason to stop the driver and then probable cause to cite or arrest him or her for committing an infraction or crime. “I think,” “I believe,” or “I’m pretty dog-gone sure…” were not enough.

Once, as I was describing how American cops do traffic enforcement, a Dutch cop riding with me stopped me and asked, “You mean you have to have a reason to stop people?” Well, unless you want to trim a little fat off the Constitution, in America you do.

This seems to be the difference between President Trump-supporting Republicans and neo-Democrats: The former prefers the constitutional rule of law, due process, evidence, and probable cause, and the latter doesn’t seem to bother with any of that nonsense.

This may not be an exact parallel, but you’ll get the point. So, what if an elected city attorney felt strongly the voters should not have elected a particular mayor? And what if, after an exhaustive investigation, not able to find any other reason to remove the mayor, that city attorney got together with the police chief or county sheriff and ordered several officers and detectives to follow the mayor, his family, his business associates, and leaders of city agencies he controls, as they drive and walk around the city all day, every day?

How long before one cop observed the mayor or one of his or her family members or associates commit a traffic infraction or other kind of violation or even a crime? How long could you drive without committing a violation if a cop were following you everywhere you went all day long? I mean, even if you could drive, walk, or otherwise act “perfectly,” you’re going to at least jaywalk, park illegally, or have a defective headlight, brake light, or turn signal eventually, right?

This doesn’t even take into account the monumental distraction preventing these people from being able to conduct the business of running the American government. You know…their duty to the American people.

Now, ask yourself if this is any different from what Reps. Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff, their Queen, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the rest of their “Resist” crew are doing? The Dems are obviously recommitting to the pre- and post-election coup still being conducted to steal (Nadler’s word) the 2016 election.

The Democrats are in their congressional committee patrol cars, following President Trump, his family, and other Trump-Republicans…just waiting to turn their lights and sirens on. The Democrats will continue this strategy until they glimpse any microscopic trace of a violation, any confabulation of wrongdoing, to bring down our duly-elected president.

Thereby, they’ll have accomplished the first successful presidential coup in American history.

At least, that’s what they hope for. But you know what? It’s really gonna suck for the Dems when they realize the American people, including President Trump’s supporters, are smarter than they think.
