One America News Host Jack Posobiec Attacked Online as Racist

By: - April 17, 2019

Few things have caused controversy within the American political climate as branding someone a “Nazi” or “racist”—aside from actually embodying these labels. Once the powers that be determine public figures are Nazis, it’s hard to escape scrutiny on any level. Social media posts become coded attacks on groups of minorities. Political discourse becomes near-impossible without being dismissed as hateful.

Take for example One America News Network host Jack Posobiec. His Twitter timeline offers content that resonates with many Americans. From his hardcore political views to his unequivocal condemnation of cargo shorts, Jack Posobiec demonstrates ability to connect with anyone. He often engages with followers and starts interesting discussions/polls that provoke dialogue. Users will find a variety of parody and deep analysis.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that I strongly disagree with Posobiec’s politics. In fact, I engage his Twitter account almost daily to do just that. There are vast differences in opinion, belief, and vision. There are even unsavory characters he associates with that make me cringe. President Donald Trump himself is a regular retweeter of Posobiec’s posts. In that respect, what unites humanity isn’t belief in politics or even religion.

Jack Posobiec is very open about his sobriety. He’s spoken at length about his own journey while offering his inbox to anyone who needs support with their own sobriety. He shares photos of family, including his young son. He broadcasts live and takes calls from followers, regardless of political affiliation. These are opportunities to engage ideas and covey opposition.

While Posobiec has admittedly engaged in trollish behavior in his past, he’s determined to move forward. I recently asked him point blank if he’s racist. Clutching his pearls, he replied, “I’m a Christian and always have been. I believe the immortal soul is what matters, not someone’s physical body. Racists are atheists.” He condemns Richard Spencer and what he says are photoshopped images of the two together. In fact, the men have clashed several times. Posobiec has blacklisted Spencer from attending any events he’s involved in organizing.

Often labeled a conspiracy theorist, Posobiec was the first journalist to leak now-President of France Emmanuel Macron’s e-mails. He also investigates the Trump underworld, even debunking the “QAnon” conspiracy. He’s often ahead of mainstream media in reporting on the D.C. beat. These are facts. He’s also recently faced anti-Catholic attacks. While we can argue problematic behavior from both sides of the aisle, Jack Posobiec’s faith shouldn’t come into question. Dialogue and mutual respect for opposing points of view are what America needs most.

    • K.C. athlete kicks on the leftist outrage machine
On May 11, Kansas City Chiefs placekicker Harrison Butker gave the commencement address at Benedictine College, a Catholic school in Kansas. Within 48 hours, the media elites were ablaze with outrage. There's a "growing uproar," warned NBC's Hoda Kotb. A Catholic speaker talked about Catholic issues to Catholic graduates. But the Butker critics who aren't… […]
    • Another big lie: Liberals are more 'caring' than conservatives
People often ask, "How do you handle mean, vicious people when out in public?" The truth is I rarely encounter nastiness. It does happen, but thankfully, it is pretty rare. In general, when people don't like me, they possess the maturity to restrain themselves from verbal road rage. I conduct myself the same way when… […]

    • From the Pit to Power: An election drama in 2 acts
Joe Biden's claim, speaking recently to Democrat donors, that Donald Trump intends to be a democracy-demolishing dictator, if elected, is shameless. "He's saying it out loud," Biden seethed. No, Joe, he didn't. The accusation stems from Trump's playful response to a Sean Hannity question during a December town hall meeting in Iowa. To anyone watching… […]
    • Too many laws, too little freedom
We are caught in a vicious cycle of too many laws, too many cops, and too little freedom.
