Dem Racists Pan Baltimore Anchor

By: - May 9, 2019

Mary Bubala, a news anchor at the CBS-affiliate WJZ in Baltimore was sacked two days ago because she dared to pose a hard question to a university professor. I live thirty minutes away in Annapolis and people here are talking about it.

Last week she queried Loyola professor Karsonya Whitehead: “We’ve had three female, African-American mayors in a row. They were all passionate public servants. Two resigned, though. Is this a signal that a different kind of leadership is needed to move Baltimore forward?” The professor disagreed. The anchor is white.

Let’s see: she opens with a statement of fact. Then she sucks up to the reigning powers. Then another statement of fact. Then the actual question. It sounded to me (yes, odious conservative me) like she was openly questioning, at least inferring, that the identitarian politics that rule Dem city machines like Baltimore’s is too obsessed with race and gender and not mainly concerned with good government. Hence the mayoral turnover.

Then, all hell broke loose.

Of course, no one answered the question since the obvious answer would prove highly embarrassing to the Baltimore pols and their hangers on. So they used the old tactic of changing the subject and attacking the messenger. The poor anchor got caught in the maelstrom of ineffectual corrupt racist politicians and their pals (a person who thinks anyone gets a free pass on criticism because of their race is giving that race a superior status. Ergo, racist behavior) covering their ass. You see, there’s a color and gender bias in the city and the new bigots are enforcing it to the detriment of city residents. Same type of ignorance and hate as many decades before. Just this time, directed against someone else.

We who live close to the hilariously misnamed “charm city” know the place is a boring burg, when it’s not being a multiculty terrordome. Every night we read or see the product of the current municipal leadership, murders and more murders. When confronted with legit criticism about who is in charge and why this is happening, the rabid pack circles its wagons and lashes out in inchoate fury.

Mary Bubala will now have her career and reputation crippled, at least in Baltimore, because she implied the empresses have no political clothes. Such is the penalty for those in Dem-controlled cities who don’t understand that free speech and freedom of the press are alien concepts to race hustlers.

Now, if she had said “white male mayors”?

It would be a whole different story.
