Cohen Claims Trump is a ‘Conman,’ a ‘Racist,’ and ‘a Cheat’

Former Trump lawyer and advisor Michael Cohen claimed that Trump is racist, a cheater, and a liar in a 20-page document that was submitted to the U.S. Congress. The damning testimony outlines a variety of potential legal violations and immoral decisions. Whether or not Cohen can support any of these claims with evidence remains to be seen.

Among other things, Cohen claims that he paid hush money to various women to cover up legal affairs. Cohen even suggested that Trump used a fake medical condition to get out of serving in the Vietnam War. Currently, President Trump is in Vietnam, meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Cohen did state that Trump never directly told him to lie to Congress. Cohen claims, however, that he witnessed Trump talking on the phone with Roger Stone. Reportedly, Stone had talked to Julian Assange, who was planning to dump a large number of Clinton-linked emails. This marks the first evidence that Trump knew of the email dump before it happened.

Cohen also claims that President Trump may have known that his son, Don Jr., was going to meet with Russian agents in the Trump Tower. The president has denied any prior knowledge of the meeting and has downplayed his relationship with Russia. However, Cohen admitted that he merely overheard Don Jr. tell his father that “the meeting was all set.” It’s not clear which meeting he was referring to.

The White House and several Trump allies have fired back, noting that Cohen has lied on numerous occasions, calling his reliability into question.
