Epstein Case Shows Rot at the Core of the Dem Establishment

By: - July 9, 2019

Billionaire hedge fund manager and Dem donor (He donated $10,000 to the DCCC in 2018. Much more before that.) Jeffrey Epstein has been indicted for sex trafficking involving minors. You’ve already read that elsewhere. You also probably have read that former President Bill Clinton has taken many trips aboard Epstein’s flying violation of The Mann Act, the “Lolita Express.”

But this isn’t the total extent of Dem establishment player involvement in this kind of thing. Not even close.

Famed Dem attorney, though a sane one, Alan Dershowitz is implicated in this affair. Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine, herself a Dem national official, has warned other Dems (interestingly enough, she warned them publicly) that some of their “faves” (notice the plural) will be caught up in this net.

On top of this there are Clinton’s numerous other indiscretions. On top of that Dem names like Weiner, Spitzer, and Kennedy remind us of the high regard the supposedly feminist party has for women. I carry no brief for Huma Abedin. Though watching her public humiliation in the “Weiner” documentary was excruciating on a human level.

You may be saying, Oh, Trump was also named as an Epstein pal. Yes, he was. The difference is that as soon as Trump found out about Epstein’s illegal predilections he broke off contact and barred him from the Trump properties. Expect the media to try and make the whole story about the president.

But Bill didn’t take the Trump route. Nope, Bill Clinton took even more flights on the Nabokov-themed airplane knowing full well what the deal was. He claimed yesterday he “knows nothing” (apparently Stalag 13’s Sergeant Schultz is his new spin doctor) about the “terrible crimes” that went on. Surprised he didn’t add, “I did not have aviation relations with that man, Mr. Epstein.”

One wonders if Hillary will, if this goes nuclear, now give him the boot and adopt that most cherished of feminist personas: victim. If so, it will be a stretch as she enthusiastically victimed her way, by association with her husband, into a U.S. Senate seat and a top cabinet slot.

Now, we here are no prudes and have no public issue with the assignations of consenting adults. However, we’re not talking adults in this case. We’re talking girls as young as fourteen being treated as Epstein’s personal slavish harem. This major Dem player didn’t care about them, their lives, or the damage he did to them. Like many on the left, he was only interested in what he could get out of it for himself. Damn the injury to others. As such, he might as well have called his plane “The Great Society.”

This horrid ethos is not limited to Dems. Not by far. But it does, much more than other political parties, infect their top echelons, their core. The hypocrisy of their rabid feminism and this combined is almost too incredulous to be believed.

As any cursory exam will show, it is not the only unbelievable thing about today’s Dems.
