Hurricane Florence Headed Towards the Carolinas

By: - September 10, 2018

Hurricane Florence is currently a category 4 hurricane that is on track to hit land later this week in the east coast region. It is expected to gain strength with winds up to 130 mph by the time it hits land. Some forecasting models are showing that Florence could potentially bring a foot or or two of rain in some places, so inland flooding is a possibility.

Grocery stores throughout the Carolina’s have become crowded with people as it has become empty of water bottles, batteries and food. Residents are currently prepping for what could be a dangerous storm leaving devastating damage behind.

Residents are being urged to secure their home and belongings as it’s too soon to know if they will be evacuated. It’s best to be prepared for the worst while still hoping to make it through the hurricane safe with very limited damage.
