Pelosi Feuds with Her Own Frankenstein Monsters

By: - July 12, 2019

So, AOC is playing the race card. Gee, what a surprise.

She said Nancy Pelosi is “singling out” the Four Frosh Furies of the hard left in the House because of race.

Well, perhaps AOC is right. Just not in the way she intended.

The four —a Latin, two blacks, and a Palestinian— are used to such kid-glove treatment from Dems like Nancy solely based on race (you know, what used to be called racism, when you gave some preferential treatment based on color or ethnicity) that when the little monsters Nancy created from her race-hustling ideology stepped out of line and she slapped them a tad, the spoiled harpies couldn’t believe what happened to them.

But these are monsters Nancy and her party singled out and brought to life. After decades of entitlement and getting away with the worst shenanigans, after forty years of getting a pass from Dems like Nancy in exchange for blind support, the coddled harpies are rebelling against Big Sis because she’s not woke enough.

Quel dommage.

One problem with that, girls, is that you have nowhere else to go.

You’re too dumb, racist, and sexist to make it in the GOP. We require at least a pretension to thought and judgment. Well, most of the time. Your Bolshie Mean Girls routine isn’t gonna fly with Kevin McCarthy.

And one problem with this scenario for Pelosi: she’s stuck with them because her party is an identitarian hellhole. From their presidential candidates to both houses of Congress, they care more about race and gender than they do about anything having to do with the welfare of the American people as a whole. Nancy and the Four Frosh Furies have that in common. And you can’t go too hard on them, Nancy, or they’ll scream racism even harder and you’ll be caught in the very same trap that you designed to slander Republicans.

Heh.

When I taught college, to amuse myself, I’d pick out the most guilty white liberal student and bait them with provocative right-wing statements until they criticized me. As soon as they did I’d shriek, “Racism!”

When they and the class looked confused, knowing my conservative views, I’d opine, “Hey, your rules. I am a Latin and also part black and part Indian. Feathers not dots (threw that in to piss them off even more). I am by your long-time designation an aggrieved and oppressed minority and thus not capable of racism. You, on the other hand, by your own rules, are of classic ‘white’ heritage and thus must always be the racist. So no matter what I say or you say, it doesn’t matter. You are always the villain because in your world view race trumps all.”

The rest of the class was usually amused. The liberal generally was not.

AOC is running the same game against Nancy.

As the game makes the Dem civil war worse leading up to the 2020 federal elections and motivates furrow-driving scratches and hissed meows that will pass for fine entertainment, I can only encourage them both in their back-and-forth battle of tooth and claw.

I’m guessing there’s a guy in the White House who feels just about the same way.
