Back in May of 2018 I wrote an article about the corruption of our youth through political ideology indoctrination, not education. Unfortunately, the indoctrination continues. Worse still, due to their success at the higher levels of education, they are starting with younger and younger age groups. This take-over of our education system has now reached our elementary schools, middle schools, and our high schools.
As I scribe this article, there are literally millions of students returning to school across the country. In case you haven’t noticed, these schools are becoming more and more hostile to any student with a competing ideology. Reprimands, detention, and even expulsion are par for the course.
As reported by the Reno Gazette Journal on April 24, 2018: “An eighth-grade student is suing the Washoe County School District after he was told to cover his pro-gun T-shirt because it was in violation of the district’s dress code,” resulting in a federal lawsuit.
“This lawsuit challenges, at its core, the school district’s policy which we believe is unconstitutionally overbroad and violates the First Amendment on its face,” said Brandon Combs, president of the Firearms Policy Coalition.
The student’s mother, Audrey Guardanapo is a local police dispatcher, and his father, Shaun Guardanapo is a former law enforcement officer and U.S. Marine veteran.
“The student was disciplined twice for wearing pro-gun clothing, according to the lawsuit,” wrote Sam Gross, adding, “He was first disciplined on Nov. 20, 2017, for wearing a shirt from a local gun store, Sparks Black Rifle. That shirt depicted the store’s logo, which according to the suit uses the silhouettes of a rifle and handgun.
“He was again disciplined on March 12 for wearing a shirt promoting the Firearms Policy Coalition. That shirt features the words ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ and a coiled snake. It also includes references to the Second Amendment and other ‘constitutional themes.’ The second shirt did not depict an image of a firearm.”
What is most interesting is that children who wear clothing supporting gun bans or pro-gun control are neither disciplined or expelled. Sorry folks, you can’t have it both ways. But it gets worse. Now you can’t even support your president, as 18-year-old Addison Barnes, a Liberty High School senior in Oregon, found out.
As reported by Fox 12 Oregon, “Barnes says he knew what he was doing when he wore a controversial shirt to his ‘People and Politics’ class, in which the topic that day was immigration. He was sent home that day, on Jan. 19, when he refused to cover it up, and tells FOX 12 he’s sticking up for his First Amendment rights. The shirt included the words ‘Donald J Trump Border Wall Construction Co.’ and a quote from the president: ‘The wall just got 10 feet taller.’ Barnes says the assistant principal pulled him out of class because his shirt offended students and a teacher.”
According to Barnes, “She gave me the option; either I cover the shirt up or I get sent home.”
The shirt neither showed nor promoted violence, hate, or drugs. It was a shirt supporting our president and his immigration policy. This shirt was apropos, given that Barnes was attending his “People and Politics” class. Is not the purpose of education to challenge preconceived notions and debate your position? Is this not the very essence of the Socratic method of teaching? But no, our schools are about indoctrination as opposed to education.
Or how about a student, a 14-year-old, who was arrested simply for wearing a pro NRA t-shirt to school?
The mother of a teenager who was arrested for wearing an NRA t-shirt to his West Virginia middle school is suing the Logan County Board of Education.
Tanya Lardieri filed the lawsuit in federal court on behalf of her son, Jared Marcum, who was 14 at the time of the incident. Marcum was told by a teacher to turn the shirt inside out. When he refused, he was ordered to the principal’s office, where he refused a second time. Police charged him with disrupting an educational process and obstructing an officer.
Or how about the 16-year-old in New York who was suspended for doing the same thing, simply wearing a pro NRA t-shirt.
“A 16-year-old high school student was suspended for refusing to change his t-shirt that had an NRA logo on it,” reported Fox News Insider.
Folks, this is happening all over the country. It is not an isolated incident and it has been going on for years!
Now it’s not just a hostile environment our conservative valued students have to face, but an educational system with an agenda to push radical anti-faith and anti-America beliefs. Don’t believe it? Consider that even our English classes have been corrupted. The position taken by these anti-faith, anti-America “educators” (and I use that term loosely) has been termed “Queering English.”
How They are Pushing the “Queering English” Agenda
Here’s how the radical anti-faith, same-sex advocates are using the public schools to push their agenda. It all started with the National Council of Teachers of English. If you read their charter and their platform, you soon realize that this organization is not just about teaching “English.” That is just their means and methodology of insinuating themselves into our schools. Their true agenda is to indoctrinate by means of forced instruction, a radical “social justice” agenda. As reported by Liberty Council, the NCTE trains teachers to indoctrinate students with radical ideology, under the guise of classroom English assignments, and in violation of parental rights.
The NCTE’s recent national conference included a long list of “social justice” sessions, including a featured session entitled, “Queering English Studies: Navigating Politics, Policies, and Practices.” The session description stated:
“Queer K–12 teachers and students must continue…constructing learning spaces, creating projects, and pursuing research agendas that move English studies…to transformation so that participants can be proactive in their schools and communities.”
But dear readers, it only gets worse. What I am about to tell you is so Orwellian, so repulsive, that it defies human comprehension.
Radical Teachers Are Now Creating Personal “Dossiers” On Our Children
If you can believe it, Liberty Counsel is now representing concerned parents in a Georgia school district where teachers (note this is a plural!) who were actively involved in the NCTE conference as “presenters” are using their positions of authority to impose their hidden agenda on their students. As reported by Liberty Counsel: “One English teacher and NCTE presenter actually required her students, without parental consent, to complete an individual ‘dossier’ containing confidential and personally identifiable information including a photograph, a strand of hair, a handwriting sample and fingerprints.”
This teacher took it even further by requiring “the students to complete a politically charged ‘propaganda’ assignment that along with the ‘dossier’ was consistent with the radical agenda promoted by the NCTE.” These “dossiers” were then posted in the classroom for everyone to see.
Now this action by its very nature violates the privacy laws of our Constitution and Georgia State law, let alone the violation of parental rights.
But this is how the radical left operates. They push and they push, seeing just how much they can get away with. But it is my belief that Americans are waking up to the insidious nature of the radical left and are now fighting back. At least, I can only hope.
I don’t care where you live or what you do, but it’s borderline criminal for any person in authority to use that position to violate students’ liberties and parental rights. So ask yourself this question. What would the consequences have been if a student had refused to participate and complete a “dossier”?
These are a direct attack on our children’s civil liberties and are clear examples of the radical left’s agenda to indoctrinate our children. Unfortunately, these actions have been far too effective.
As reported by The Washington Times, most millennials would rather live in a socialist or communist nation than under capitalism. Bottom Line: The most popular socioeconomic order was socialism, with 44 percent of the study group in support of socialism.
As I have stated before, the root cause of this is simple: most millennials and today’s youth simply do not know what socialism means and they have been educated…I mean indoctrinated, into the acceptance of the idea of socialism by clever word tricks. In short, liberalism is the new socialism. Who can forget the now famous quote of Norman Thomas, the first (and six-time) presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America: “The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism,’ they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democratic Party has adopted our platform.”
That my friends, is the end result of the continued indoctrination of our youth.
