Rapper Who Boasts About ‘Killing Snitches’ Elected to Missouri House of Representatives

By: - October 12, 2017

“Sadly, Franks could quite possibly go down as the best living example for the type of septic tank political system you wind up with when people do not turn out to cast a ballot.”

While many Americans were celebrating a bold new direction for the country this past November with the election of Donald J. Trump, there was another radical outsider getting himself voted into office.  Though they share the same “outsider” moniker, you’d be hard pressed to find many other similarities between the two.

In Trump, you’ve got an orange skinned republican with an iconically terrible hairdo and a wildly successful business pedigree.  On the other hand, in the freshman 78th District Representative from Missouri, you’ve got a face tattooed democrat with a history of protesting, arrests, and “gangsta” rap.  If the Pubs and Dems can agree on one thing and one thing only, it would be that they’re both saying, “thank god for term limits”.

Bruce Franks Jr. is a rapper turned activist who has stumbled into office to represent the people of the greater St. Louis area in the Missouri House of Representatives.  Though more people attended this Pokemon Go! event in Australia last July than the total number of people to vote for either candidate in the Democrat Primary for the 78th seat, the ramifications of the election are significant.  Sadly, Franks could quite possibly go down as the best living example for the type of septic tank political system you wind up with when people do not turn out to cast a ballot.

I first heard of Bruce Franks Jr. from a Blunt Force Truth article entitled Democratic Lawmaker Rapped About Shooting ‘Snitches’, Dragging Their Bodies that came out this week.  It would have been great if this information had gotten out before he was elected, but it’s better late than never.  Then again, in the face of so much social decay in today’s inner-cities – would it have really made a difference?

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity…Martin Luther King Jr.

It turns out that the man now representing about 35,000 Missourians went under the stage name Ooops in a rap group called St. Louis Cypher prior to his foray into politics.  As Ooops, Franks was on record as recently as 2015 rhyming about murder, torture, and getting away with it. I try not to be a church lady constantly moralizing like those on the PC left, but am I the only one who finds it completely mental that we have an elected official rhyming about gunning down “snitches” and dragging their corpses through the streets tied to the back of a Chrysler? The cognitive dissonance displayed by Franks is blinding and can be summed up by Martin Luther King Jr. when he said:

“Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

While MLK breathed profound words almost every time he stood to speak, modern day “civil rights leaders” like Mr. Ooops spew this trash (you can see Mr. Ooops at 5:30 in the YouTube video below):

“I off them if they snitch, I put a shotty to their body, send them straight to the reverend! I put them in a body cast, put them in a body bag, tie them to the back of the Chrysler then it’s body drag!”

How exactly does a person this unfit for office get elected in the first place?  Leftist wingnuts have been penning article after article in celebration of a “landslide” victory for Franks since he won almost a year ago – but let’s get the whole truth out there.

The final vote tally in the Democrat Primary this past November held “the man with the facial tattoos” as the clear victor with 2,234 votes to his opponent’s 701.  It’s funny though.  No one wants to mention that there were over 19,000 democrats eligible to vote in that election.

Perspective is everything.

Franks was somehow able to move on to the General with less than 15% of the votes for all registered democrats in the district.  Astonishingly, 85% of the district’s democrats couldn’t care less about who was going to represent them and didn’t even bother getting off the couch.

Who funds a rapper glorifying black on black violence, a tatted up face, and no real merit to his name?

The true landslide came in the mere formality that is the General Election in urban St. Louis, a district that will probably never see another Republican elected again.  After all, the control tactics of the democrat plantation have proven to be as formidable as anything the Kim family have been able to come up with in North Korea over the years.

In the General, Franks was able to get just over 10 thousand votes as Democrats did what the vast majority of partisan voters do – show up to vote for the big one and put a check mark next to the faceless person down the ballot with the “D” next to their name. This is the only way someone like Franks can slip through the cracks and democrats and republicans both like it that way.

I was curious to find out what the price tag looks like for a primary election in a district where less than 3,000 people are actively participating in democracy.  It turns out, Franks won his seat with $40,000.  That translates to approximately $18 per vote.  I still can’t believe Franks raised enough money to buy an Audi – so the the question is this: Who funds a rapper glorifying black on black violence, a tatted up face, and no real merit to his name?

Remember Missouri State Senator Maria Chapelle-Nadal? She’s the one who famously posted “I hope Trump is assassinated!” on Facebook back in August.  She also donated 10K to the Bruce Franks election campaign this past November.

Inner-cities will remain as poverty and violence ridden cesspools with no hope for improvement so long as the uninformed continue to elect people such as these to reign supreme.  Real improvement would completely put their brand of racial divisiveness and disdain for law and order out of business completely.  For now, it’s the Bruce Franks Jr. Show in St. Louis.

…am I the only one who finds it completely mental that we have an elected official rhyming about gunning down “snitches” and dragging their corpses through the streets tied to the back of a Chrysler?

Since being elected to the 78th in Missouri, Franks has become his own biggest cheerleader and little else, save getting himself arrested.  Franks refers to himself as a “hero” in this YouTube video posted by the Missouri House Democrats.  The video has garnered just 528 views in 8 months’ time.  Clearly, no one is paying attention to Franks now that he is in office just as no one paid attention when he was campaigning.

Despite that, Franks is still the elected representative of around 35,000 people – and he’s heady enough to recognize the power in that.  This much is evident in the way he brags about the St. Louis police Chief and members of the United States Department of Justice looking to him for advice on police-community relations.

So what kind of police-community relations does Franks have in mind then? Well, he was arrested in St. Louis late last month following a “not guilty” verdict in an officer involved shooting case that took place back in 2011.  Politicians should know that you can’t block the highway and spar with police in the streets, but this is Bruce “Ooops” Franks we’re talking about here.  This post taken from Franks’ Facebook page makes it clear where he stands as far as police-community relations goes.

Politicians in economically challenged and low voter-turnout areas have been getting elected for years by drumming up just enough outrage from their constituency to get into office and then prosper off the continued dysfunction they never planned on doing anything about in the first place.  I’m looking at you Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, and Al Green.

In 2015, Franks boasted that a US Dept. of Justice official texted him to “be safe” while he “protested” in Ferguson on the one-year anniversary of the riots. Franks would go on record to say, “A year ago, I didn’t even know what the Justice Department was.”

They don’t call him “Ooops” for nothing.
