Rep. Omar Blames Trump for Tensions with Iran

Iran threatens the peace of the Middle East for decades. Her proxies fire shells into Israel. She attacks tankers in the Gulf of Oman. She funds terrorism around the world. She has repeatedly said she wants nukes so she can wipe out our allies in the area. But who is at fault for making poor little Iran commit these naughty deeds out of sheer noble defense?

According Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), why, Donald Trump, of course, because “none of this would have happened if Trump didn’t back out of the Iran nuclear deal.” She means Iran threatening to enrich uranium. She conveniently forgets about the rest.

Yes, first he ripped up the bogus nuke deal with that band of loony mullahs, much to the childish consternation of Rep. Omar and her traitorous clique. Then he took the presidential batcopter and secretly lobbed mortars into Israel. He then followed that up with tanker attacks and bankrupted himself to support Hamas and Hezbollah. He had to. After all, “none of this would have happened” without the president.

I know the disloyal wretch would much prefer the days when her co-religionist was sending Tehran last-minute pallets of cash before he had to vacate the Oval Office. Or more to her taste may have been when the former POTUS, a Baath Party member, likely sent Iran Israeli codes and tech specs so they could shoot down any Israeli Air Force attempt to decelerate, if not destroy, their nuke program. Tel Aviv hackers put a wrench in the gears anyway with a computer bug. Boo hoo Ilhan.

So here, unlike the America First Trump administration, the Blame America First Dems like Omar jump at any and all chances to criticize this nation, especially when military action could be imminent. They’ve been doing it at least since Vietnam, and you know Omar and her political pals would like nothing better than to see dead Americans felled at the dry bony hands of the Iranian clerics. Their glee for that might even surpass their happiness on 9-11.

But no dice, you witch.

The nuke deal will not be revivified, our naval forces in the region will not go away, and if we get in a fight with Tehran the mullahs will be bloodied or worse. Push it to the farthest nuclear brinksmanship and the possibility of a charred lifeless hole in Asia Minor is no longer merely a somewhat satisfying plan at the ops office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Thus by the president standing up for America and our allies, for recognizing that the appeasement of aggressors always leads to greater conflict, maybe Omar is in a way right. For if Trump holds the line and she and Tehran do not get their way the situation is totally then his “fault.”

Let’s hope, in that way, she is never wrong.
