How much money you can make isn’t the most important aspect to consider when deciding what to go to school for, but it is something that should be thought about. Not all college majors are made equal, some make a lot more money than others. Here are 20 of the highest paying college majors.

1. Computer Science

Computer science has a very high average salary of about $70,000. There are so many different opportunities and things to do with a degree in computer science. Some popular jobs in computer science are web developer and software engineer.

 

2. Electrical Engineering

The median salary for an electrical engineering major is $68,438. Having a degree in electrical engineering gives you the chance to work as an electrical engineer or systems engineer.

 

3. Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering offers job opportunities in mechanical, design and project engineering. The average salary for people with mechanical engineering degrees is at $68,000.
