The pilot of a small aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on a busy roadway Monday, hitting several cars and coming to rest outside the local Golden Corral restaurant.
Thankfully, there were only minor injuries, and the pilot walked away from the crash.
The incident occurred on Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville, Georgia.
Not the Bee reports that pilot Thomas Rodgers’ plane lost its engine at takeoff in Gainesville, requiring the quick descent and emergency landing.
Comments from other pilots say this “was super impressive, a tight squeeze, and it’s amazing that nobody got seriously injured,” according to the news site.
