Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy announced Sunday his wife is pregnant.

Doocy, who has covered the White House since President Donald Trump departed office in 2021 and repeatedly clashed with then-President Joe Biden and White House press secretaries Jen Psaki and Karine Jean-Pierre, already has two kids with his wife, Fox Business reporter Hillary Vaughn. Doocy, 38, announced Vaughn, 36, was expecting baby number three at the end of “The Sunday Briefing.”

“And finally, I have some family news. This segment we were just doing, it’s aimed at America’s youngest citizens, I’ve got two at my house, you can see George there on the left and Bridget on the right,” Doocy said. “Well, here is a Fox News alert: another one is on the way. My wife, Hillary, is pregnant.”

“She is due on my dad’s birthday, so Doocy, party of five, coming soon and this little bundle of joy will be here in time for midterm coverage on ‘The Sunday Briefing,’” Doocy continued.

Doocy’s daughter, Bridget, was born in February 2023, while his son, George, was born in April 2025.

Whereas Doocy’s repeated clashes with the Biden administration often generated attention on social media, during the Trump administration he’s notably been known for having multiple altercations with birds during live shoots from the White House’s outdoor media booths.

The first incident, which took place around the time his son was born in April 2025, involved a pigeon landing on Doocy’s head while he was discussing tariffs imposed by Trump on China and a water dispute with Mexico during a “Fox and Friends” segment.

Doocy had a second avian altercation with a feathered fiend in May 2025 while on air with “America’s Newsroom” to report on Trump’s order to re-open Alcatraz, the historically notorious prison off the California coast.

Doocy told viewers his third child was due in November.
