Paul Pelosi, the husband of ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is facing a driving charge after authorities say his car was disabled and a parked car was damaged in a collision.
Police told the Daily Mail that he was driving in the elite neighborhood where the Pelosis live and hit a parked car.
Rather than stopping, he continued to drive until it stopped running, and in an interview, he said he knew he hit something but didn’t know what, so he tried to continue, the report said.
Napa Valley policie officials said, “He drove until his car became disabled and was no longer able to continue driving.”
The vehicles sustained major damage.
“He is now facing a single charge of hit-and-run on a parked car and will have his driving license referred to the DMV for re-evaluation due to his age, which is common for elderly drivers. Paul was not arrested, just charged with a misdemeanor,” the report said.
He’s 86.
The report said the collision happened at the same spot where he was cited for DUI several years ago. At that time he pleaded guilty and was put on probation.

The Pelosis are estimated to be worth up to $400 million.
It was only three years ago that WND reported on a hammer attack on Paul Pelosi in the couple’s home.
David Wayne DePape, 42, eventually was convicted of multiple state and federal charges for entering the couple’s home and attacking Pelosi with a hammer.
He was left with a fractured skull that required surgery, and DePape was sentenced to life in prison.
Police allege that he had planned to take Nancy Pelosi hostage and interrogate her in an episode motivated by politics.

Over the objections from defense lawyers for the man charged with a hammer attack on Paul Pelosi, authorities have released a police bodycam video of the actual attack.
