A government health secretary meekly repeated himself – not really answering the question – after a TV host confronted him about reversing course on the “transgender” issue.

It was journalist Camilla Tominey of the U.K. interviewing Labour Party Health Secretary James Murray.

WATCH:

Part of the interview dialogue:

Tominey: “You’re quite pro-trans, aren’t you? Do you think a woman can have a penis? Because you did previously?”

Murray: “No, I don’t.”

Tominey: “So you’ve changed your mind?”

Murray: “Yes.”

Camilla: “Why?”

That’s when Murray begins to dissemble, saying people have been “thinking” about the issue over recent years – but Tominey calls his bluff.

“You must have known that before. You are very well educated. How on earth can you have previously thought that a woman can have a penis?”

Murray’s second “answer” mirrored the first. He did not take responsibility for his role in getting people who differed with his original views “canceled.”

Continued Tominey: “Part of the reason these women were canceled was because of people like you who denied biological sex and they were hounded on by the trans lobby,” saying Murray owes those people an apology.

Demurred Murray, “I don’t think people should be canceled.”

J. Stewart posted on X: “This level of ideological delusion at the very top of government is not just embarrassing, it is dangerous. Basic biology should never have been up for debate, let alone something a Health Secretary had to ‘evolve’ on.”
