With President Donald Trump attending the LIV Golf tournament at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club Sunday, two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled by NORAD to intercept two aircraft violating restricted airspace.
“All general aviation aircraft were safely escorted out of the area by NORAD aircraft,” officials said.
“Pilots: check your Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS) and FAA Temporary Flight Restrictions.”

One of the interceptions was caught on camera by X user @JoeyGoomba, who was in Jefferson Township, New Jersey, as an F-16 is seen racing toward what appeared to be a small Cessna.

Fighter jets have been scrambled numerous times to protect Trump, with one incident in March requiring flares to be deployed to get the wayward pilot’s attention, as WorldNetDaily reported.
And as reported in March 2025, more than 20 airspace violations in Palm Beach took place since Trump’s second inauguration, with F-16s intercepting civilian aircraft at those times.
