The New Socialist Movement Is Active In At Least 37 Countries and America Is the Center-Piece

By: - November 21, 2017

“In the past two weeks, Soros has publicly donated an additional $18 billion to Open Society Foundations, which is, in turn, funding these various socialist initiatives. “

There is a new globalist-socialist movement right now. This movement hides under the cloak of “Progressivism.” After all, the failed socialist model (most recent examples: Venezuela and Cuba) cannot compete under its true socialist brand against democratic and free-market societies. This so-called “Progressive Movement” has, however, rebranded its label, its strategy, and its tactics to accomplish the same socialist end-state.

We all know that democracies and capitalistic free market economies are not perfect. For example, it would be ideal if a fraction of Fortune 500 Chief Executive Officers’ (CEOs) salaries were converted into corporate programs to enhance the lives of workers. The average CEO salary was 46 times the salary of an average worker in 1983. In 2013, that ratio had CEOs making 331 times the salary of an average worker. Most of this surge was driven by the growth of “high-tech” industries.

Governments in free market economies generally do not regulate these ratios. Many factors, such as market forces, stockholders, and the cost of top-tier talent impacts these ratios.

It appears that their hidden agenda is to destroy democracies and their institutions to create an opening to ‘sell their progressive’ agenda.

Pure socialist and communist models have proven to be failures. They do not produce the Walmart’s, Exxon Mobil’s, Apple’s, AT&T’s, Boeing’s, Microsoft’s, and Google’s of the world. Even Russia and China with their long-standing communist models have had to dramatically alter them to accommodate free market and trade approaches in the global economy.

This progressive movement is now vigorously executing a formidable “grass-roots, bottom-up” approach to complement its traditionally slower “power-broker, top-down” approach. It appears that their hidden agenda is to destroy democracies and their institutions to create an opening to “sell their progressive” agenda. If they compete against democratic models, especially, in true name (socialism), they fail.

This new socialist movement is driven by a well-funded, non-governmental effort. The chief financiers of this movement are George Soros (through his Open Society Foundations) and the Democracy Alliance (where Soros is also a “Partner” member).

Soros has provided $14 billion in funding to this movement over the past decade through Open Society Foundations and his action arm, The Open Society Institute. In the past two weeks, Soros has publicly donated an additional $18 billion to Open Society Foundations, which is, in turn, funding these various socialist initiatives. There are 37 countries in the world now complaining about Soros’ destabilizing efforts.

My initial focus was on the US when talking about the effects of this movement. Then, I began research on Hungary and Macedonia where both Presidents have bashed Soros’ activities publicly. These efforts led me to the unique Soros effort in Guatemala assisting the “soft coup” (wittingly or unwittingly) against President Jimmy Morales. Guatemala has been a strong ally of the US in the Counter-Drug fight.

George Soros and the “Trump Resistance” Movement held its secret meeting in Carlsbad, California last week. The four-day event, titled “Beyond #Resistance: Reclaiming our Progressive Future,” asked the attendees to refrain from contacting the media or posting to social media, the agenda shows.” The purpose “is to generate support for Alliance Partner Organizations [referencing the Democracy Alliance] and engage in diverging perspectives connected to shaping political and policy transformation in America,” the report said.

During the coming weeks, I will further develop this survey article in much more detail – especially, regarding the strong similarities in strategy and tactics that the Progressives and Soros are funding in Guatemala, vis-à-vis the U.S.
