Trump Said ‘God Bless All’ After Santa Fe Shooting, Then Celebs Unleashed Their Fury

One of the unwritten rules following a school shooting is that one must not send “thoughts and prayers.”

“School shooting in Texas. Early reports not looking good. God bless all!” President Donald Trump wrote.

The sentiment was echoed throughout the administration.

Vice President Mike Pence shared his prayers with the Santa Fe community: “To the students, families, teachers of Santa Fe High School, all of those affected and the entire community: We are with you, you are in our prayers, and you’re in the prayers of the American people.”

First lady Melania Trump, who recently underwent surgery, also shared that she was grieving for the victims: “My heart goes out to Santa Fe and all of Texas today,” she tweeted.

Yet all of this was taken as nothing less than provocation by an angry, gun control-activist Left — who, sadly, are already using another tragic school shooting to push their gun control politics on the rest of America or take out their fury on this president and his administration and family.

Leading the charge of responses was none other than onetime celebrity Kathy Griffin.

“You are a sociopath completely devoid of any empathy. Go f*** yourself,” she wrote.

Classy.

Actor Billy Baldwin also aimed an expletive-laden comment President Trump’s way on Friday.

“F*** the God bless all … Trump. It’s real simple … do something!! Universal background checks Close Gun show & Internet loophole Ban military style weapons Ho ho, hey hey … how many the NRA gonna kill today? ” Baldwin wrote.

Singer-songwriter Bill Madden also showed his contempt for the president — and included Trump’s own comments first: “‘School shooting in Texas. Early reports not looking good. God bless all!’ — Trump, on the Santa Fe High School shooting.”

“Every time I think this moronic imbecile cannot possibly tweet something less empathetic, inappropriate and more asinine — without fail, I am proven wrong,” Madden wrote.

Americans of all stripes share their heartfelt prayers, thoughts, sympathy and concern with the victims and their families following any natural disaster, terror attack, or school shooting. Yet it’s not helpful, thoughtful or “edgy” in any way to lash out at the president and other genuinely grieving people and tell them they’re wrong for praying.

A shooter and apparently one other person is in custody; much is still unknown about this unfolding story. But if the gun control-pushing members of the Left want to talk facts and policy, they know they will lose. They want to disarm millions of law-abiding Americans and strip them of their Second Amendment rights, yet that does not make anyone safer from criminals intent on harming people.

Instead, celebs and gun control activists take to tweeting their hatred at Christians. It’s sad.

Joe Biden's claim, speaking recently to Democrat donors, that Donald Trump intends to be a democracy-demolishing dictator, if elected, is shameless. "He's saying it out loud," Biden seethed.
