Did you know there is a title for “Fittest on Earth”? Most would think this belongs to Olympians or professional athletes, right? Well, the wildly popular exercise rage known as CrossFit has disrupted the fitness world over the past decade. Since 2007, an annual competition known as the CrossFit Games takes place and awards the vaunted Fittest titles! With the culmination of the 2018 games being today, it makes perfect sense that this week’s frontline leader should be an elite athlete impacting this industry. In fact, it is two of them.

A husband and wife team cofounded Born Primitive in 2014, a fitness apparel and accessory company that is patriot inspired. They started their business in their garage with the preferred snatch shorts and have been trailblazing a loved product line with one of the fastest-growing fitness communities. And it is this community concept, in addition to an ethos to reject mediocrity, that marries perfectly with the military tribe. As an active-duty military family, the cofounders are elite custodians of the sheep dog ethos, evidenced in the spirit of their company products and how they give back to fellow military, firefighters, police, and first responders.

Born Primitive is a frontline leader that should be on your list of most-wanted businesses to support in 2018.

From the Born Primitive website:

Let’s face it. Our generation has gotten soft. Too many people in modern society just want entitlements, quick thrills and instant gratification, without wanting to put in the hard work that we all know is necessary for anything truly worthwhile. Born Primitive was created for the modern savages out there who reject this notion and refuse to accept the mediocrity that society now fosters. Whether it’s at the gym or in life, our beliefs are simple. Set goals, relentlessly strive to achieve them, and never make excuses. Look people in the eye and give them a firm handshake. Your word is your bond. Throw your conventional limits out the window and realize your true potential.
