InSight Lands on Mars

The NASA InSight mission has finally landed on Mars after seven months of traveling through space. Insight launched on May 5, 2018 and is expected to spend two years investigating the deep interior of Mars.

InSight travelled at a speed of about 6,200 mph in space for 301,223981 miles. Insight was also followed by two cube satellites, MarCO, that are about the size of a suitcase. MarCO are the first cube satellites to fly into deep space. MarCO also shared the data about Insight’s Martian landing.
