Pelosi Questioned Trump’s Manhood, Compared Him to Skunk

By: - December 12, 2018

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me, right? Of course, anyone who’s been the target of “bad words” knows that’s not true. And now, House Minority Leader (and soon to be majority leader) Nancy Pelosi has some “sticks and stones” words for President Donald Trump. Following a contentious meeting at the White House on Tuesday, Pelosi has been questioning Trump’s manhood and likening him to a skunk.

On Tuesday, President Trump grew quite recalcitrant during his meeting with Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Vice President Mike Pence and others trying to hammer out funding for the government. Members of the Press were in the room and the meeting itself was recorded, so for once, it’s not just a he-said-she-said mud-slinging contest.

Now, Pelosi is lashing out at the president, claiming that she was “trying to be the mom.” To her aides and anyone else who will listen, Pelosi has continued her attack. She reportedly said, “I can’t explain it to you. It was so wild. It goes to show you: You get into a tickle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.”

So what’s causing the most recent flare-up? The meeting on Tuesday was set up with hopes that Trump and other government leaders could hash out a deal to maintain government funding efforts. Come December 21st, the government will run out of funds for about 25 percent of government spending.

During the Tuesday meeting, Schumer and Pelosi worked to put the blame squarely on the president’s shoulders. At one point, Pelosi referred to the potential government closures as a “Trump shutdown.” Apparently, Trump agreed with the assessment, noting: “If we don’t get what we want, one way or the other…I will shut down the government.”

Pelosi also claimed that during a private meeting, Trump reiterated his claim that Mexico was going to pay for the wall. The president doesn’t mean directly, of course, but instead through increased revenues from the renegotiated NAFTA, which now goes under the moniker USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement). Pelosi hit back, noting that any money raised for the deal could be spent on American workers and the economy.
