Former FBI Director Jim Comey is trying to clear his name after saying repeatedly that opening up an investigation into Russia collusion was justified, even though he had absolutely no evidence of any of it.
According to former Chairman of the Intelligence Committee, Devon Nunez, “This is a conspiracy that’s gone on for a decade. And remember you mentioned about Clinton trying to win, but what it really was about was covering up for her missing emails. That’s what it originates with. And then it goes into the ICA that you just talked about. It goes into the Ukraine impeachment hoax. It goes all the way, we can just fast forward to the raid at Mara Lago. So the victim in this is President Trump, his family, his associates, campaign members.”
Acting Attorney General of the United States Todd Blanche says he is committed to investigating what Nunez said about the decade-long conspiracy.
Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures” on the Fox News Channel, Maria Bartiromo asked Todd Blanche about this conspiracy.
“That’s exactly what we’re investigating right now,” said Blanche. “And by the way, what is not in dispute is that the whole Russia hoax, there was absolutely nothing to it. And so the question that that the American people have to ask is, well, then why did they do it? Why did Comey say what he said? Why did the outgoing Obama administration do what they did? And that’s what we’re studying right now because it did great damage to this country. It did great damage to President Trump’s first term and we want to understand why that happened. Why there continued to be an effort by operatives in the government to go after President Trump while he was in office, and then of course over the past several years as well.”

“Do you believe it was a conspiracy against President Trump?” asked Bartiromo.
Blanche replied, “I mean, that’s what we’re looking at. And do you believe it? I mean look at what happened. There’s no evidence of any Russia collusion at all, and yet there was a special counsel appointed. Two years the entire the president’s family, his entire administration was investigated. There was zero evidence of any Russia collusion. That cannot happen. It should never happen in this country. And so we’ll we’re going to get to the bottom of it.”
