Field trips for groups of scouts, internationally, often include a visit to a government office, a tourist location, a local business or industry, and the like.
One scout pack in Scotland took a group of boys, ages 6-8, to a mosque.
And one boy has become an instant meme for refusing to bow to Allah when an imam was chanting the call to worship.

Not the Bee reported on the events, pointing out that even the local mosque admitted the events happened, even though the Muslim web page claimed there were “fake AI-generated” images being circulated and false claims that an “imam forced child to prostrate.”
The Muslims confirmed the original image was from a Beavers Scouts “educational visit” to a mosque for a “Faith Activity Badge.”
It developed at Stirling Islamic Centre.

The report said the video clip gives the appearance of being authentic.
“The Scout leader took them for an educational visit to the Central Scotland Islamic Centre in Stirling, Scotland, a Muslim mosque founded in 1982. Muslims are compelled to pray five times a day toward their holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, bowing to show submission (the meaning of the words ‘Islam’ and ‘Muslim’) to their god Allah,” the report explained.
“One young man, refused. Completely, Definitively. Courageously.”
Social media commenters made the connection, right away, to biblical history:

And there was the obvious question: What would have happened if Scottish children “had been taken to actively participate in a prayer service in a historical Scottish church as a sign of submission to the name of Jesus Christ!”
Why is it never the other way around? I haven’t seen any video’s of Muslim children being taken to churches and taught about Christianity.

One social media commenter pointed out: “Or to a synagogue.”
Another said, “Why do British children need to be taught about Islam? Would it not make more sense for Muslim children to be taken to Church to learn about British Culture, to help integrate and educate?”
“Pretty sure kids in the UK are learing (see what i did there) enough about islam just by the sheer number of stabbings occuring on the streets and formerly quaint traditional villages being infested and molested by hoards of military-aged male ‘refugees’ from muslim countries,” another negative attitude said.
“You see people forced into humiliation rituals where they have to kneel at a mosque or wear a kippa at their wedding, You never see any Muslims or Jews throw on a crucifix and pray the church,” confirmed another.
