Former Clinton Campaign Manager: Hillary May Run for President in 2020…Again

As tensions heat up and congressional hearings proceed over alleged Russian interference with the 2016 presidential election, democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is back in the news.  However, the headlines, as they pertain to Hillary, are not discussing Russia’s possible efforts to sink the Clinton ship and block her bid for the presidency.  Rather, they are about yet another potential run for the highest seat in the land.  According to Robby Mook, Clinton’s former campaign manager, Mrs. Clinton is weighing her options for 2020.  Mook made the statement while appearing on MSNBC’s ‘For the Record with Greta’.

Should Hillary launch a campaign to try and besiege the oval office from President Trump in 2020, it would be her third bid for president with the first two being largely unsuccessful.  While many analysts thought Clinton’s failed attempts had to do with America wanting new faces representing their values, one could see Clinton coming in as a rebound candidate for the fractured Democratic party.  However, the larger issue at hand may not be her tired talking points, but rather her health, which many experts speculated plagued her throughout the campaign, leading some to even question whether she was fit to serve in such a demanding and critical post.

Regardless of whether Clinton decides to throw her hat back in the ring, or she lets Elizabeth Warren or a number of other potential candidates that are being discussed take the lead, one thing remains certain – the Democratic party has to find a new game plan.  Despite the populous being extremely divided over President Trump’s policies and initiatives, the fact remains that the Republican party swept through Washington, D.C in epic fashion and now controls the White House, Congress and the Senate, something that cannot be ignored as a trend.
