“He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled” –Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton is promoting her book “What Happened” which is scheduled for release September 12, 2017. In it, she reveals some candid moments involving the 2016 presidential debates. Hillary Clinton said then-presidential candidate Donald Trump’s on-stage behavior made her “skin crawl.” Clinton also suggests thoughts of saying “Back up, you creep! I know you love to intimidate women. So back up!”
“What Happened” is Hillary Clinton’s account of her rise to the Democratic presidential nomination to her November 8, 2016 Election Day loss to Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Clinton’s book publisher released audio excerpts availing snippets of her memoir. In the book’s pre-release materials, Clinton exposes her presidential-run experiences. “Every day that I was a candidate for president, I knew that millions of people were counting on me. I couldn’t get the job done. And I’ll have to live with that for the rest of my life,” Clinton says in the audio recordings.

“He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled,” Clinton describes in her book. Clinton explains moments Donald Trump “invaded her space” while she was speaking to America.
Stage Fright
The media flooded airwaves with imagery of Donald Trump close behind Clinton. Saturday Night Live did their own skit. Portrayed by Alec Baldwin (Trump) and Kate McKinnon (Clinton), the scene Clinton describes was colorfully spoofed by SNL. It became a unique moment in American presidential debate history.
Speaking to would-be voters, Clinton immediately claimed discomfort by the Republican contender. Instances set the stage for how each candidate felt about one another, then and now.
Clinton’s big reveal is depicted in “What Happened.” She declares her memoir was “hard” to write. As indicated by her tweet, Hillary Clinton hints at how she feels about our present-day political climate:
Writing “What Happened” was hard, so is what we see every day. As we move forward & fight back, I hope this helps.https://t.co/cD45JRy2Q0 pic.twitter.com/iAMM3tflWc

Also, despite what Clinton explains in her memoirs, some unanswered questions linger. A federal judge recently issued a court order to re-examine state department databases pertaining to the Clinton email scandal.
On her book’s Preface page, Clinton wrote: “For the team who stood with me in 2016 and worked their hearts out for a better, stronger, fairer America. Being your candidate was one of the greatest honors of my life.”
Some may be disinterested in Hillary Clinton’s memoirs. What really happened?
