A White House spokesman has issued a terse response to former President Joe Biden’s recent remarks taking aim at Donald Trump.
Saturday Biden ripped the president in a speech to Maryland Democrats.
Biden called Trump a loser and a narcissist for spearheading projects that have cleaned up public facilities in D.C.
“The Reflecting Pool reflects something even worse than the narcissism and incompetence at the core of this administration,” Biden said.
“It’s the corruption. The brazen, blatant corruption. Corruption on a scale never seen before in American history in any administration.
“It’s not just his vanity projects … putting his name on the Kennedy Center, building an arch in his own honor. Even hiring his own pool guy to fix the Reflecting Pool,” he added.
“Whoa, what a loser,” Biden said.
On Monday, White House spokesman Davis Ingle shot back in a statement to USA Today, saying: “Joe Biden’s brain is mashed potatoes. We wish him and his family well during this difficult time.”
