Anti-Trump and anti-Elon protests across the nation have become a norm since the election. People lining the streets, chanting at cars, yelling obscenities, and holding signs that look like a five year old made them. All for the purpose of “fighting for democracy”.
Outside of the obvious question of whose minds are they actually changing, the next biggest question I’ve had was, what exactly are they fighting against?
So we had to find out ourselves.
This past weekend I showed up to one of these protests. It’s been a frequent sighting every single weekend since the election in November in downtown Wichita, KS. (Gotta give them credit for consistency).
As we went into the crowd, we saw signs from every talking point of the mainstream media. It occurred to me we may not find much original thought from those fighting against tyranny and oppression…. and we were right.
We hear about TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), but until you’ve experience the disease firsthand from someone ranting in your face, you don’t quite get the full scope of how deep it runs in the veins of emotionally triggered progressives.
Every answer given to us was a generalized talking point with no comprehension of the real issues. No response was based in logic, or even followed a solid thought process. In fact, most of the responses contradicted the previous statement. Yet when questioned on the hypocrisy, all we got was the blank stare of a mindless troll.
So how do we fight against it?
Just like any illness we need a remedy. A magic little pill that can begin to heal society from the spreading disease.
Until then, the only remedy we have is to ignore them. There will always be this loud/vocal minority of society that is so misled, they’ll never be able to comprehend common sense.
The only thing we can do is continue to push for our agenda, and push as hard as possible. We have a limited amount of time to reverse decades of government growth, regulation, and control over the private sector.
No matter how loud they scream, no matter how hard they push back, no matter how violent they get, we cannot slow down or give up on the end goal: to bring back the golden age of America through slashing the size of government and hitting the reset button in society.
And let’s pop the popcorn while we watch the emotionally triggered left react.
