It’s now a count of misdemeanor hit-and-run for Paul Pelosi, the husband of ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The Washington Examiner said Paul Pelosi, 86, is facing the charge after he reportedly drove into a parked car, then drove away, in their Napa County neighborhood.
The crash caused rear-end damage, and the sheriff’s office confirmed Pelosi was not arrested and did not have alcohol in his system, but admitted to deputies he “hit something.”
He didn’t know what, “so he kept driving” the sheriff’s office said.
“He drove until his car became disabled and was no longer able to continue driving.”

It was witnesses to the crash who called 911 and deputies found Pelosi a quarter-mile away.
Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced Friday that Pelosi has also been cited for making an unlawful turn, an infraction.
The report said Pelosi was at the wheel of his 2025 Maserati GranCabrio convertible when he crashed into a Tesla.
He’s to appear in court in a few weeks.
“Mr. Paul Pelosi has personally apologized to the owner of the vehicle and assured them that he would take responsibility for the damage to their vehicle,” a spokesperson for the Pelosi family told CBS News. “Speaker Pelosi will not be commenting further on this private matter.”
When the crash happened, WorldNetDaily reported the collision happened at the same spot where he was cited for DUI several years ago. At that time he pleaded guilty and was put on probation.
The Pelosis are estimated to be worth up to $400 million.
It was only three years ago that WND reported on a hammer attack on Paul Pelosi in the couple’s home.
David Wayne DePape, 42, eventually was convicted of multiple state and federal charges for entering the couple’s home and attacking Pelosi with a hammer.
He was left with a fractured skull that required surgery, and DePape was sentenced to life in prison.
Police allege that he had planned to take Nancy Pelosi hostage and interrogate her in an episode motivated by politics.
