Illiterate Rapper Cardi B Trashes Trump on Alleged Police Brutality

By: - July 30, 2019

The political genius that is so often displayed by our entertainment figures took another turn for the ridiculous a couple of days ago as Cardi B, a low rent chanteuse who I will admit to never hearing of before, decided to let us all in on her measured eloquence on the subject of law and order and the president. To wit:

“Every time I see a black man killed or mistreated by police I just keep saying ‘Do nobody give a f—? Does nobody care? And I’ve stopped saying that because nobody do care. Nobody cares. He don’t care.”

Where to begin?

First off, given the double negatives in her babbling screed it’s hard to tell where she stands concerning apathy in response to charges of supposed police physical malfeasance. I’ll take a wild guess and posit she’s against it. Second, she seems to have confused the president of the United States with a municipal police commissioner. Note to Cardi in phraseology she may ken: Trump be not no po-lice. He living in the DC place and that sh**. Third, the woman by her own words is showcased as a base bumpkin, a cacophonous churl, an intellectually slovenly illiterate.

Now, you may be saying…How dare you! She’s a woman of color and thus immune from criticism! She is also one of our royal class of athletes and entertainers and thus a lowly scribe like you may not deign to trifle with her! Begone impious wordsmith!

Well now, about the color thing. I could give a rodent’s rump about what color she is or isn’t. And if you want to play that game, as a guy of Latin, South American Indian, and African heritage (at least according to 23andMe) I sport the holy trifecta of DNA that well qualifies me as a USDA-approved minority. And guess what, Cardi dear? I speak the King’s English and the best thing that happened to my West African ancestors, though granted not so evident as it was happening, is that they got a free cruise to our shores because of the gross lethargy and hideous morals of the Southern cavalier aristocracy.

Yeah, I’d say the South Florida beach scene I grew up in had serious advantages over the surfside environments of my Dark Continent forbearers. The main one being tourist girls. Also in the mix were little things like liberty, security, freedom of expression and so on.

But that doesn’t matter to Cardi, primarily because our founding documents weren’t written in Cretin and are therefore indecipherable to her. She trucks in another idiom. One that prefers vulgarity to clarity, gnarled blather over logic, and race-hustling Instagram posts over literate comment on issues.

For which in a way we can be thankful. Because every time she or one of her fellow chuffed up carnies opens their traps another voter backs the president. They do so if only to spare us the alternatives, both political and grammatical.

    • Columbia chaos: This is 100% Obama come full circle
This is all Barack Obama. What you see happening right now in New York City all started at Columbia University way back in the early 1980s. Obama was my Columbia classmate. And now it's all full circle back to our roots (excuse the pun). Columbia University is the canary in the coal mine. Get the… […]
    • Quit your job and move to Malibu
California government was revolutionized and voters didn't' even notice. Once upon a time, local government had all the authority when it came to services. The new government model, pioneered incrementally during the second half of the 20th century, is now being redefined by state mandates. When zoning first came into practice, it was a local… […]
    • The younger generation is screwed – thanks, Joe
This week I read an article about how an anti-work TikTok video has gone viral, resonating with millions of younger Americans who can't seem to get ahead. The lyrics: I don't want to contribute nothing to society I don't struggle I don't hustle. If you want it, you can have it. Sorry, I wasn't born… […]
    • The Harlem bodega: Trump's 'water shaft' moment
The enthusiastic welcome received by President Trump at a Harlem bodega after Day 2 of the farcical hush-money trial in Manhattan reminds me of David's taking of Jerusalem 3,000 years ago, the king popping up in the city center unexpectedly through an obscure water shaft, a story told in both 2 Samuel 5 and 1… […]
    • The Ukraine war is big business: Who'd want it to end?
There's an old saying, "With friends like these, who needs enemies?" Watching 101 "Republicans" betray conservative values, siding with Democrats and deficit spending $61 billion on Ukraine, in addition to the $113 billion already spent, reveals that the Republicans don't hold a majority in the House of Representatives. Instead, the majority is held by the… […]

"Nothing is real," observed John Lennon, and that's especially true of politics. Much like the fabricated universe in Peter Weir's 1998 film "The Truman Show," in which a man's life is the basis for an elaborately staged television show aimed at selling products and procuring ratings, the political scene in the United States has devolved… […]

When our son Christopher was killed in an automobile accident, our world was changed. When I heard the news, I felt as though all the air was sucked out of the room. It was devastating. But four things got me through it – and still get me through it. The first thing was the Word… […]
    • Universities are complicit in Jew hatred on campus
It is not so much that our elite universities have allowed a spirit of vile Jew hatred to take root on their campuses. Instead, they have cultivated that very spirit, fueling its fires and fine-tuning its ideologies. The universities are complicit. Ben Shapiro confirmed these sentiments, writing, "Open anti-Semitism has been on the rise for… […]
