U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett is now alleging Republican rigging in connection with her loss to Texas State Rep. James Talarico in the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate in the Lone Star State.
“Unfortunately, this is what Republicans like to do. And so they specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why,” Crockett told supporters.

Crockett was apparently upset about a rule change requiring voters to cast ballots at their assigned precincts instead of voting at any polling location of their choice.
“We encourage each and every one of you to remain resilient. We cannot allow this type of behavior to be rewarded because so long as they know that they can win, even if it means cheating, then they will continue to do it,” she said.
“So, I am asking you, I am begging you, to make sure that you go ahead and figure out where it is that you are supposed to vote, stand in line, wait in line.”

Crockett lost to Talarico, who collected 52.8 percent of the vote compared to her 45.9 percent.
Wednesday morning, she seemed slightly more gracious.
“This morning I called James and congratulated him on becoming the Senate nominee,” Crockett said. “Texas is primed to turn blue and we must remain united because this is bigger than any one person.
“This is about the future of all 30 million Texans and getting America back on track. With the primary behind us, Democrats must rally around our nominees and win. I’m committed to doing my part and will continue working to elect democrats up and down the ballot.”

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of the Charlie Kirk Show, slammed Talarico in the wake of his primary win, saying: “James Talarico, who sold his Christian creds to Texas voters to win normie, traditional voters’ trust, is so ashamed of the actual Bible that he describes God as non-binary.
“He’s exactly the type of beta male white boy the Democrats like to trot out there to suggest the whole party isn’t anti-white and anti-male. He’s a compliant little lap dog. The only thing Talarico stands for is bending the knee. Bring it on.”

Talarico will face the winner of a Republican runoff between U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
