Judge Andrew Napolitano said that “there seems to be no limit” to what can be investigated of President Trump, after his personal attorney’s home and office was raided by the FBI on Monday.
The seized documents related to communications between himself and the president, as well as Stormy Daniels, The New York Times reported.
The raid was based in part on a referral from special counsel Robert Mueller, according to Cohen’s lawyer.
“Who would have imagined at the time that [Deputy Attorney General] Rod Rosenstein appointed Bob Mueller to look into Russian attempts to manipulate the election, that this would go to Stormy Daniels and payments for silence?” Napolitano asked.
