Maxine Waters Blasts Trump Over Social Media, Blames His “Side” for Violence in Charlottesville

The Democrat’s new darling congresswoman and mouthpiece for aggression toward President Trump, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), took to Twitter over the weekend and directly connected the atrocious and divisive events in Charlottesville, Virginia to the President. Waters stated that his “side” was responsible for the violence.  However, during her remarks, Waters failed to mention the strong presence of Black Lives Matter and Antifa thugs in Charlottesville.   Likewise, the mainstream media focused much of their coverage toward the presence of KKK and Nazi signs that were present at the event, rather than call it like it is and say all parties were in the wrong – which they were.

President Trump stated that both sides were to blame for the clashes, which led to the death of one woman and two police officers, but Waters fired back and said, “No, Trump. Not on many sides, your side.”

She went on to name several White House aides as white supremacists, including Stephen Bannon and Sebastian Gorka.

“It is now the White Supremacists’ House,” she charged.

“Trump defined himself during campaign. He encouraged violence against protesters at rallies. We should not be surprised,” Waters continued. “Don’t forget, Trump offered to pay legal fees for those who attacked protesters at his rallies. Will he be making that same offer now?”

She didn’t stop there though.  The Twitter rant continued tying President Trump to former KKK leader David Duke. “Trump claimed he didn’t know D. Duke, but Duke said white supremacist rally was done to fulfill Trump’s promises. Do you know him now, Trump?” Waters said.

Waters who, despite serving for decades upon decades, has found her first bout of fame in the past year by viciously attacking Trump, and there appears to be no end in sight. However, what she and the rest of the country, conservatives included, fail to understand is this very behavior will not bring about healing, but only further divide the nation and bring about more events, such as the one that occurred in Charlottesville over the weekend.
