Melania Trump Supporters Dolce & Gabbana Snap Back at Miley Cyrus Over Politics

Miley Cyrus offers her political ‘wisdom’ to the masses once again…

The Italian designer brand Dolce & Gabbana responded to an Instagram post made by Miley Cyrus, and it was not pretty. Cyrus shared a photo of her younger brother walking the runway in a fashion show in Milan congratulating him for his success in modeling. Rather than just leave it on a positive note, she decided to add, “PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics….but I do support your company’s effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!” So, basically, you’re scum but I can live with that because you employed my brother.

Stefano Gabbana—one half of the famous duo—snapped back at Cyrus, calling her ignorant and adding, “For your stupid comment never more work with him,” supposedly blacklisting her brother from future collaboration with the brand. Gabbana further explained that, “We’re Italian and we don’t care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it’s simply ignorant. We don’t need your posts or comments so next time please ignore us.”

Dolce & Gabbana are no strangers to criticism. They received backlash for their decision to dress First Lady Melania Trump. Many expressed outrage over what they interpret as the brand’s backing of the Trump administration for choosing to work with the first lady. They are Italian! Why would citizens expect foreigners to fall in line with American politics and use that as a base for how they operate their business? It’s absurd to expect the fashion powerhouse to boycott Melania Trump based on her husband’s policies. Dressing her means the brand gets tons of exposure. They also make no apologies for how they operate their business.

In response to the ridiculous calls to boycott Dolce & Gabbana, they responded by launching a t-shirt campaign to troll liberal fanatics. The shirt reads “#BOYCOTT DOLCE & GABBANA.”

They apparently welcome any criticism and have made it clear that they do not intend to allow backlash or critics to deter them from continuing to dress the first lady. In fact, Stefano Gabbana frequently posts photographs of Melania Trump wearing Dolce & Gabbana on his Instagram account. You don’t get more in-your-face than that. While celebrities continue to bash the Trump family and call on the world to boycott anyone who has even dared to shake hands with a member of the family, they seem to forget that people like Miley Cyrus lack the moral compass one would think would be in place before criticizing another’s beliefs.

After all, we are talking about the same “woman” who took to the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards program a few years back, practically naked, and proceeded to dance inappropriately. During the course of her strip tease, Cyrus then shocked viewers when she bent over and rubbed her behind against a married man. Please continue lecturing others on their politics, Miley. It’s hilarious.
