Michelle Obama has unleashed a new jaw-dropper about her husband, Barack Obama, the former president.

He’s “uncomfortable” with all the attention he’s getting.

This at a time when his presidential library just opened in Chicago, a barren concrete monolith likened to the space prisons of Star Wars fiction and now being referred to as the “Obamalisk.”

Actually, here is what she said:

In her interview, she claims, “He’s completely uncomfortable with this thing being about him.”

Her claims went even further, as she said her husband wanted “a little less” of himself in the project.

And she fought back. “I think people coming here want to hear about you.”

It was the Gateway Pundit that couldn’t resist pointing out, “Was she trying to make us laugh? It’s working. Obama is famous for his speeches featuring the words I, me, and my over and over again. He loves tweeting pictures of himself on holidays and when anything is in the news that he can somehow make all about himself.”

The comments continued, “He is quite possibly the most narcissistic person to ever hold the office of president. There is no topic he loves more than himself.”

In fact, a web search for ‘Barack Obama narcissistic” returned tens of thousands of confirmed referrals.

Columnist and former psychiatrist Charles Krauthammer in 2014 said Obama is a narcissist who “talks like the emperor, Napoleon.”

That assessment continued, “This is a guy, you look at every one of his speeches, even the way he introduces high officials — I’d like to introduce my secretary of state. He once referred to ‘my intelligence community.’ And in one speech, I no longer remember it, ‘my military.’ … He does have this sense of this all being a drama about him, and everybody else is just sort of part of the stage.”

Critics online joined the chorus: “Yes, clearly when I hear the name Obama the first word that comes to mind is humility……..I mean it is oozing out of every single, tiny pore…….These two are an affront to Americans every time they utter a word.”

And, “Correction: Her husband is uncomfortable with anything NOT being about him.”

At Radaronline, a report said while Michelle was boasting about Barack’s humility, “the former president sat by her side with a smile, laughing.”

WorldNetDaily reported when the center opened, at a cost estimated far in excess of $850 million and facing a slew of contractors who charge they were left unpaid.

At that time Michelle bragged about Barack’s Nobel prize and they were joined by a slew of former presidents and Hollywoodites.

One of the more notable events of the spectacle was when a number of big names were on stage, including Joe Biden.

Reports revealed, “The incident occurred on Thursday, June 18, as Biden joined former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W Bush, along with their spouses and former Vice President Kamala Harris, for the opening celebration in Chicago. After the program wrapped up and music began playing, Obama appeared to leave the stage in high spirits. Former first lady Jill Biden followed behind him, while Biden remained standing alone near the podium as others walked away.”

Then he, alone on stage, asked about his granddaughter

The episode recalled many times during his presidency when he appeared to be completely disoriented while on, or off, a stage, and his uncertainty about what to do and where to go. His lesser abilities to function in public were confirmed by leaks of written instructions from his staff on where Biden was to go, what to do, even where to sit and who to recognize, for various events.

Of course, his catastrophic debate stage work in the 2024 presidential race triggered his withdrawal, and the ultimate selection by Democrat party elites of Kamala Harris as their candidate.

President Donald Trump has ridiculed the center’s design, using AI to place a giant garbage bag on top in an image widely circulated. One commentator called it the “Obamalisk.”
