His speech, which harshly criticized the Jewish state for building settlements in ‘occupied Palestinian territory,’ was succinctly ripped apart by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu fired back at the U.S. secretary of state with a series of comments. He defined Kerry’s address as “blaming Israel for a lack of peace.”

“Secretary Kerry paid lip service to the unremitting campaign of terrorism that has been waged by the Palestinians.
I want young Palestinian children to be educated like our children, for peace. But they aren’t. They’re taught to lionize and idolize terrorists.”
He made it clear that Israel doesn’t need lessons in peace:
“I don’t seek applause. I seek the security, peace, and prosperity and the future of the Jewish state. Israelis do not need to be lectured about the importance of peace.
We pray for peace, we work for it every day since then.”…
