Edward Paltzik, the attorney for lone holdout juror Michael Desronvil in the murder mistrial of Lindsay Clancy is planning to file a bar complaint against Kevin Reddington, claiming the Clancy attorney “is not behaving rationally anymore.”
Reddington is seeking an investigation into Desronvil, who refused to go along with 11 other jurors who sought to acquit the Massachusetts mother of strangling to death her three children.
He wants the juror questioned on the record, his cell phone seized and juror questionnaire checked, believing Desronvil lied under oath concerning the reasonable doubt standard.
Reddington told Fox News Digital on Saturday: “I think the biggest misconception is that this individual is referred to as the holdout juror. He, in fact, is the obstructionist juror.”

In an interview with Kayleigh McEnany of Fox News, Paltzik says he is “100%” going to file a bar complaint against Reddington, and when asked about any potential lawsuit, he responded: “It’s a bit early to talk abut lawsuits, but I can say this: Kevin Reddington’s conduct is not consistent with the standards of professionalism that we expect from members of the bar. It is inconsistent with what we expect from members of the bar.”
“And I’ll expand on that,” he added. “If you’re an officer of the court, and you have taken an oath to uphold the United States Constitution, you’ve sworn to defend the Constitution, and then you get out there right after a trial and you attack a juror.
“But then you don’t stop. You continue to attack the juror. You’re attacking the juror outside the courtroom, inside the courtroom, everywhere. Kevin Reddington is not behaving rationally anymore.”

Asked if Desronvil ever had reasonable doubt after the jury foreperson sent the judge a note accusing him of refusing to follow the law on reasonable doubt, Paltzik said: “Michael had zero doubt.”
McEnany replied: “Zero doubt. No doubt, and he had evidence to back up his position?”
“A lot of evidence, a mountain of evidence,” Paltzik said.

A court hearing is slated for Tuesday in Plymouth, Massachusetts, as Reddington pushes to stop any retrial for Clancy, citing insufficient evidence and legal preclusions against double jeopardy.
