Dr. Chris Stout
Dr. Chris Stout is a licensed clinical psychologist and has a diverse background in various domains. He is the Founding Director of the Center for Global Initiatives. He is the Executive Producer and Host of the popular “Living a Life in Full” podcast, and he is Vice President of Clinical Research and Data Analytics at ATI, the nation’s largest orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine corporation. He was formerly a Clinical Full Professor in the Department of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois, Chicago, prior to that he held an academic appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences’ Mental Health Services and Policy Program, and he was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Health Systems Management at Rush University. He’s currently a Visiting Scholar at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He served as a Non-Governmental Organization Special Representative to the United Nations, and he holds the distinction of being one of only 100 world-wide leaders appointed to the World Economic Forum’s Global Leaders of Tomorrow and was an Invited Faculty at the Annual Meeting in Davos. Dr. Stout is a Fellow in the American Psychological Association, past-President of the Illinois Psychological Association, and is a Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice. He is a Best Selling Author publishing or presenting over 300 papers and 36 books. His works have been translated into 8 languages. He is recipient of four Humanitarian Awards and four additional honorary doctorates. He is a popular LinkedIn Influencer, and has been interviewed on CNBC, CNN, NBC, PBS, NPR, and Oprah.
