For every presidential election the inherent question leads us to wonder, what will the economic, political, and social landscape look like after one party wins? If Hillary wins, then she will begin with the largest economic deficit in history. It grew to that amount as a result of Obama adding more to it than all of the other presidents in history combined. She, like her predecessor, will grow the deficit even more with superfluous social programs that do nothing to help the economy, but rather just add to the deficit. No one seems to like or even wants to deal with the economic mess of Obama care. Only the president’s lies have attempted to justify it. It will be an incredible hurdle, if not impossible, to fix. It has already increased so many Americans health care costs. Trying to find someone to support the program is as difficult as trying to find someone who thinks Hillary is honest. Don’t forget the increased taxes to keep the program solvent. Trump’s promise to start the process to abolish it on his first day in office is clearly the correct thing to do, and help the economy before he does anything else.
The political climate will be just as bad, if not worse. From the Millennials to the Baby Boomers many believe this to be the most caustic election in history, and after years of close elections and decades of democrats In the White House, that supposition may be correct. This country has always had close elections; meaning a 50/50 popular vote with a razor thin electoral win. We should not forget that in the history of this country, nearly 250 years, a ‘landslide’ victory has only happened 4 times. In my lifetime there has even been the possibility of a tie that might have happened if George Wallace had not been shot. As a child I saw the Nixon-Kennedy election of a divided country over ½ century ago where Kennedy won the electoral vote and the popular by only 100K, but Nixon won more states. Sound familiar? Against Gore, Bush won the election by winning Florida, and only by 537 votes! Every time it seems the electorate has become more and more divided on issues with a temperament that has become even more acrimonious. The point is any candidate normally starts with only 50 % support. If she wins, Hillary will start as the most disliked and polarizing winner in history with some believing she should be incarcerated.
Conversely, Trumps’ support partly is due to both the desire for a non-traditional candidate who can’t be bought by contractors, PACs, special interest groups, or foreign entities, and the distrust of the ‘career’ politicians, dishonest media, a corrupt legal and justice system, and the government in general. Even with a feckless sycophant republican congress, there will be some ready to start impeachment proceedings from her first day. With an electorate rightfully feeling betrayed, or at worse an election stolen, Republican senators and congressman will find doing business as usual at their career peril. Eric Bradner and Ted Barrett of CNN posed that “Republicans are already promising years of investigations and blocked nominees” with a Clinton win. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the Republican who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, told the Wahington Post “he has lined up enough material from Clinton’s four years as Secretary of State for Two years of probes. It’s a target-rich environment. Even before we get to Day One, we’ve got two years’ worth of material already lined up. She has four years history at the State Department and it ain’t good.” Regardless, there may not be an impeachment, or even an indictment, but this internecine fight, one would think, should make her tenure a political nightmare.
She will find a caustic stalemate of a political quagmire caused by animosity from many venues trying to implement social change. There will be a divided congress that still may remain with a Republican majority. Republicans who support the lunacy of Global Warming, or other such nonsense that only increase our debt and serve no substantive purpose, as opposed to fighting an increased terrorist threat for example (helped by her supposed open door and border claims) do so at the peril of losing their constituency.
Opinions vary on how much of a fight she will have appointing federal judges that could dictate a liberal agenda for our lifetimes. Imagine all the liberal lunacy of university and school policies/directives now officially supported by the courts! Hillary has already said during the debates that her concern is not with the constitution, but issues like LGBT (did I miss any new letters?) and Global Warming. At least one senator has said the GOP should consider blocking any Clinton nominee. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex. said, as reported by the Washington post, that “there is certainly long historical precedent for a Supreme Court with fewer justices.” And “I would note, just recently, that justice (Stephen) Beyer observed that the vacancy is not impacting the ability of the court to do its job. That’s a debate that we are going to have.”
Any Clinton social agenda will be seen as a continued glorification of every aberrational immoral liberal program or agenda already being pushed by the Obama reign. These programs will be juxtaposed against conservative common sense and increased Christian frustration and anger. Only a liberal would want to hear an argument about which bath room to use or why it is a good reason to use taxes to retrofit government buildings so that someone can have the option to use one of many different bathrooms. That will be quite the speech about adding to the largest deficit of all time for her LGBT and Global Warming agenda, while at the same time trying to justify open borders with no limits that require us to pay for the same people we are letting in that want to harm us. This adds to our debt and lessens our security and safety. The insanity of disloyal illegal aliens that don’t even pay taxes only makes sense when you realize they increase votes for Hillary. Even Benedict Arnold wouldn’t be that arrogant.
These are just some of the main or obvious concerns we have read or hear about. No one can imagine all of the negative impact which could stem from the different possibilities. It makes my heart heavy just thinking about it. However, one thing remains known, regardless of how many layers of this evil Clinton onion one peels, any layer foretells of a Clinton White House that is a potential nightmare for our country.
